I've never ridden one myself but I can imagine with that pedal position that they wouldn't be the most efficient bicycles in the world. They're like Beach Cruisers turned up to 11. At least cruisers put you in a more natural feeling seating position

They are stupid to actually ride, and bike cranks usually cheapen the look hard. They should make more of them with batteries hidden inside the tubes.
