Gonzo journalism is basically "taking extreme liberties" with the facts and HST is credited with its invention. It's a form of fable. A likely example is HST supposedly conducting an interview with Nixon in the back seat of the presidential limo, and they spend the whole time talking about baseball statistics. Very entertaining!

I far prefer that to the smarminess of a Gary Trudeau (Doonesbury). God, I hate that faggot!
