A witch who was paid to put a curse on Charlie Kirk days before he was shot to death has said her magic is ‘effective’.

Police are still searching for the shooter after the Donald Trump ally was killed at an event at Utah Valley University yesterday.

Despite Mr Kirk’s controversial political opinions his death has drawn outrage from across the political spectrum, condemning political violence and the suppression of free speech.

A few days before his death, US news and opinion site Jezebel published an article ‘cursing’ Mr Kirk.

The piece ran with the headline ‘We Paid Some Etsy Witches to Curse Charlie Kirk’, and detailed the author’s conversations and experiences with multiple self-described ‘witches’ who were offering to curse people over the small business site Etsy.

In an exclusive statement shared with Metro, Priestess Lilin’ said that while she does not claim literal responsibility for Mr Kirk’s death, she described the magic she works with as ‘effective’.

She says that while she ‘walks the path of benefic magic, also known as white magic for healings, love, abundance and divination’, Leamashtu practices ‘malefic magic, also known as black magic like curses, obsession spells, and pact making’.

Their Etsy shop has 45 five-star reviews for its spells and curses.
