Action will be taken against foreigners in the United States who are considered to be “praising, rationalizing, or making light of” Charlie Kirk’s death, a top state department official has said.

The statement comes in a wider context of an aggressive crackdown on free speech and dissenting views in the US under the second Trump administration, especially when it comes to campus protests sparked by Israel’s war on Gaza.

In a post on X on Thursday morning, the deputy secretary of state, Christopher Landau, wrote that “foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country” and said he had directed consular officials to “undertake appropriate action” against those deemed to be “praising, rationalizing, or making light of” Kirk’s death on social media.

Yeah, only we can do that.
>>
>>1434820
>inb4 they have rights tooooooo
I can't think of another country... maybe UK... where you can laugh about the deaths of people in a country you also demand to live in.
>>
kinda fair tbh, who wants people that glorify murder lol
>>
>>1434920
Why only this specific one
>>
>>1434820
not american but i can definitely see why celebrating his death is celebrating terrorism, why would any country want those pieces of shit.
>>1434908
depends on if the person is a protect class if they are you go to jail for a tweet
>>
>>1434936
>Why only this specific one
You're asking why the US Government does not want people who like/enjoy/support political terrorism?
>>
>>1434920
>making light of deaths is glorifying them and therefore unAmerican
>he says on 9/11
>the #1 most joked about day in America
You aren't American.
>>
>>1434945
You know damn well there has been other politically motivated violence that visa applicants are not being screened for. Why aren’t we screening people who make memes about the JFK assassination?
>>
>>1434953
The time for debate ended yesterday. Now we just do things. Deal with it.
>>
>>1434820
This is re-framing *freedom of speech* as a privilege rather than a right. This is part of a multi-step trajectory by which you go from having the same rights as everybody else, to having more privileges than some, to suddenly having no rights *or* privileges.
>>
>>1434954
Nice way of saying that you have nothing other than pearl clutching and virtue signalling.
Leftkikes want to take away everybody's guns.
Rightkikes want to take away everybody's freedom of speech.
Two sides of the same uniparty, acting exactly the same, with the same end goal.
>>
>>1434970
>both sides! both sides!
>>
>>1434972
Yes, and both are Jewish.
Just look at yourself, being a dishonest Jew right now, and mindlessly parroting what has been programmed into you.
>>
>>1434952
and you are retarded
>>
>>1434936
you're right, it should be for every kind of murder, but this is the high profile one and unfortunatly, the only one society really cares about
>>
>>1434954
Ok moshe
>>
>>1434976
What would make sense is scanning for credible threats. Instead now unknown numbers of security personnel will be checking if internet memes are kosher or not
>>
>>1434974
Leftkikes keep trying to convince us that our leaders are compromised.

That may be true. But there are more pressing matters, like democrats calling for conservative genocide and crying crocodile tears over someone they clearly hated.

They speak in half-truths as to not invite alarm. But their words are twisted weapons. We remember who they are and what they said. They want to castrate our children, kill us, ridicule the deaths of our leaders.

You can never be forgiven for the things you have done.

Bold comeback, but your average pet bird can repeat shit they hear every day.

It's just a joke, bro
Now point out in the US Constitution where it says verbatim 'Foreigners must not praise, rationalize, or make light of Charlie Kirk’s death'
We'll wait.

Already using his death to further an agenda... I am even more convinced Repubs sacrificed him to be a martyr.

What a funny take given many right wing talking heads suggesting we are at war for years and their current call among many of them for revenge. The only leftist I've ever seen say that are one that even the left calls lunatics. You know the ones we've been railing against on here for years?
>>
>>1435298
>28th Amendment
Now point out in that Amendment where it says verbatim 'Foreigners must not praise, rationalize, or make light of Charlie Kirk’s death'
I'll wait. Don't forget: verbatim.
Otherwise foreigners can joke about Chuckie Kack losing the gun debate by a longshot and pearl clutching rightards must agree that others are free to make jokes about Kirky without so much as a complaint nor a wrong opinion from pearl clutchers, because they don't have the right to have wrong opinions about those who mock a dead rightard, and deputy secretary of state Christopher Landau's opinions are wrong.
>>
>>1435684
>Otherwise foreigners can joke about Chuckie Kack
Not if they dont want to get deported they cant.
>losing the gun debate
How did he lose the gun debate? Because he got shot with a hunting rifle? I thought this was just about banning "weapons or war" like the AR15?
>>
>>1435679
>The only leftist I've ever seen say that are one that even the left calls lunatics
To be serious for a moment: no bro. I've seen a lot of democrats openly cheer for a political assassination.
The democrats in the House booed a call to condemn his assassination, for christ's sake.

Constitution doesnt apply to people beyond our borders. So yeah, you can shitpost about Kirk while in Australia, but that will mean you're not getting a work/student/travel visa to America when you ask for one.

Deal with it.

Visitors to US can ridicule Chucko all they like, the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution says they can, and pearl-clutching snowflake SJW rightards don't have the right to have wrong opinions about those ridiculing something so precious to them that is another laughable rightard, and they only have the right to deal with it

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences.

Based.
Foreigners should learn freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences

Freedom of Speech does not mean Freedom from Consequences. Just ask Charlie 'He put his neck where his mouth is' Kirk

Conservatives are making lists anon.
I know we like to have fun here, but you need to chill.
>>
>>1435924
This entire thread exists because one of the lists Conservatives made started with Charlie Kirk
I'm not really worried about MAGA eating each other
>>
>>1435930
Nigger, listen to me. I am not trying to pithily mock you. Conservatives are on a warpath right now.
I know we have nipped at each other's heals for however long this board has existed, but I am telling you: don't joke about Charlie Kirk. This is a serious situation.

>>1435935
Where was this when Pelosi's husband was beaten half to death with a hammer?

I don't recall conservatives calling for a civil war when that happened, do you?
I am telling you what I've already told my liberal family members. Do not be fucking retarded, for the love of god.

Yeah but they are now.

MAGA retards having impotent rage isn't new
Charlie Kirk was one of the propagandists hired to stoke those flames
Its not hard to understand you're all sperging out
And no one can stop you from falling for obvious propaganda by anonymous foreign bots

We just have to deal with the spillover because MAGA are all gullible emotional manbabies
>>
>>1435935
>This is a serious situation.
No it isn't. If you're expecting people to live in a society where one side is catered to lest they violently revolt and the other side isn't, it's a deeply unserious situation.

To be abundantly clear, I don't think the right will do jack shit that they weren't going to find any pretext to do anyway. Kirk's death is meaningless in all but a material sense, ie the right lost a valuable mouthpiece.

But if I'm wrong and everyone rightly shitting on him and the rest of the right in the aftermath is going push them over the edge, let's do it. The situation wouldn't be sustainable anyway and I wouldn't want to appease them to try to sustain it.

tl;dr Shut the fuck up, Chamberlain.
>>
>>1435943
>MAGA retards having impotent rage isn't new
I'm sperging out because shit like this is popping up all over the place.

Actual terrorist shit.
Do yourself a favor and stay off social media.
>>
>>1435935
>Conservatives are on a warpath right now.
But enough about Charlie Kirk's shooter
>>1435966
>popping up all over the place
Yeah. That one place in Moronsville, Utah
Why is it that the only LDSers who can be respected are Glen A. Larson and Don Bluth? Just as the last decent Republican president was Dwight D. Eisenhower, and why is he respected by Democrats?
>>
>>1435935
I honestly never heard of Charlie Kirk before he was killed by antifa, but really, they have to cool the fuck down, these pampered white leftists are going to fuck up a lot of shit for everyone if they keep this up
>>

>killed by maga

ftfy, snowflake rightoid SJW

There aren't many people that are going to fall for your schtick, but good job for trying. I guess.
>>
>>1436012
There's less that'll fall for your schtick, but you do youself
Bad job being tryhards, those that are now the snowflake SJWs: now becoming the very things you set out to destroy. But as you're destroying yourselves, more facial meat for leopards. I hear they love that which has been pre-tenderized.
