Anonymous Good News: Price of the Brick (...) 09/18/25(Thu)09:08:55 No. 1438830 Cocaine is more popular than ever in the US and the Mexican drug lord Trump has declared war on is cashing in https://ca.news.yahoo.com/cocaine-more-popular-ever-us-171341163.html?guccounter=1 Cocaine use is now more popular than ever in the U.S., with a major resurgence in recent years allowing the Mexican drug lord largely responsible for the boom to cash in. Consumption of cocaine in the western U.S. has increased by 154 percent since 2019, according to data from drug-testing company Millennium Health. In the same period, use is up 19 percent on the East Coast. At the same time, use of the deadly drug fentanyl has been declining ever since mid-2023, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Trump administration has vowed to crack down hard on cartels, even imposing harsh economic sanctions on Mexico to stymie the flow of fentanyl and other illicit products into the U.S. A specific target for the administration is the powerful Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), which has been assessed to have the highest cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine trafficking capacity in Mexico and is led by Nemesio Rubén ‘El Mencho’ Oseguera Cervantes (United States Drug Enforcement Administration) A main target has been the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) led by Nemesio Rubén “El Mencho” Oseguera Cervantes, which is believed to have the highest cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine trafficking capacity in Mexico. Sources familiar with the operations of CJNG told The Wall Street Journal that record amounts of cocaine are currently being produced in Colombia, driving the volume in the U.S. up and the price down. Morgan Godvin, a researcher with the community organization Drug Checking Los Angeles, told the outlet that pure cocaine prices have “plummeted” to an average of $60 to $75 a gram, a decrease of around half compared with five years ago. >>

Anonymous 09/18/25(Thu)09:10:38 No. 1438834 >>1438830 Oseguera Cervantes benefited in recent years from America’s focus on the fentanyl epidemic, and the resulting capture of Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman in 2016, which created a power vacuum in the rival Sinaloa cartel. In addition, Donald Trump’s intense campaign to arrest and deport migrants from the U.S. has taken multiple federal agents away from drug-traffic enforcement operations>>

Anonymous 09/18/25(Thu)09:39:29 No. 1438846 >>1438842 Biden didn't take people away from drug enforcement positions. Amazing how we get a president willing to commit an international war crime by blowing up boats suspected of trafficking drugs, yet has done nothing about cocaine.>>

I would but they want you to give your name, address and a bunch of other shit I'm not giving before you can download the .pdf.>>

Anonymous 09/18/25(Thu)17:01:06 No. 1439228 He is just paving the road for Big Pharma/government cocaine. Can't hold a monopoly when there is a large black market. Cocaine and meth are fine as they keep the workers working, at least until consequences of drug use catch up, but they don't care about the longterm effects on you, just the short term gain. >>

Anonymous 09/18/25(Thu)21:04:57 No. 1439357 >>1438840 >>1438832 If he keeps fentanyl down thats a good trade. People gotta make money. If the USA wanted to stop drugs, we could shoot fucks at the border, drone strike cartels, we could do it. The might of the US army may suck against rebels, but it is immense against a biz with products. But people gotta make money, that's not a real option. By punishing fentanyl traffic, he can incentivize drug cartels to only make coke runs by letting them move coke semi-legally. Maybe a slap on the wrist but test it and let em go sometimes.>>

Anonymous 09/18/25(Thu)23:30:35 No. 1439429 >>1439424 Ah yes the democrat policy of "having an avian flu outbreak". Followed by the actual Trump policy of "freeze the CDC and FDA to extend the outbreak far longer than it needed to be". Hey by the way, what happened the prices of literally everything else? Eggs are only "decreasing" in price because they had a massive spike due to the flu outbreak; we're still dealing with 10% inflation on them compared to before that happened.>>

Human flu prevention is quarantine; for birds you have to cull and that affects the egg production. But considering that leftist rhetoric has inspired a bunch of civil rest and terrorism over the past decade, it's probably better than inciting violence via lies and half-truths crafted to panic people. Essentially, given the current political climate, I mean to say, "What an odd thing to take issue with.">>
