Anonymous 'Athletically allergic' ICE re(...) 10/21/25(Tue)09:14:36 No. 1450006 https://www.rawstory.com/ice-training/ President Donald Trump's administration is grappling with an embarrassing setback in their plans for a recruitment surge of deportation officers, reported The Atlantic on Monday: tons of the people applying can't do the basic fitness test. "More than a third have failed so far, four officials told me, impeding the agency’s plan to hire, train, and deploy 10,000 deportation officers by January. To pass, recruits must do 15 push-ups and 32 sit-ups, and run 1.5 miles in 14 minutes," reported Nick Miroff. "'It’s pathetic,' one career [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] official told me, adding that before now, a typical class of 40 recruits had only a couple of candidates fail, because the screening process was more rigorous." Now, because Trump officials have signficantly eased the hiring process, many people who cannot do even light exercise are getting job offers that may have to be revoked or altered once they get to the training facility, said the report: "An email from ICE headquarters to the agency’s top officials on October 5 lamented that 'a considerable amount of athletically allergic candidates' had been showing up to the academy; they had 'misrepresented' their physical condition on application forms. The email directed leaders at ICE’s field offices to conduct preliminary fitness exams with new recruits before sending them to the academy." >>

Anonymous 10/21/25(Tue)09:26:25 No. 1450011 former Air Force. Basic training was only six weeks when I was in, and I did not do a single push-up. Not even one. We did some stretches and maybe some squat-thrusts if our TI was pissed off, then we went to the pad and jogged. First week, we jogged a quarter-mile. They added another quarter mile every week. By week 6, we ran 1.5 miles in 12:30 and didn't break a sweat. These slobs cannot do a few situps and pushups and run 1.5 in 14 minutes? Why on earth are they signing up for ICE? >>

Fewer than half of the state's ninth-graders -- 49 percent -- could do it. >They had better luck with "trunk extension strength" such as pull-ups. Between 82 and 88 percent of students in all three grades managed to reach 9 to 12 inches on the pass-fail test. So the DHS requirements are legitimately easier than middle school fitness tests.>>

Deportation isn't fast enough, its too expensive and its a legal nightmare - the plan is simply to revoke their human rights, because they're not human and they have no rights here. Then they'll throw the problem at the Democrats and challenge them to come up with a better solution that doesn't involve letting the browns stay, which will result in implicit permission to murder all the browns from both sides.>>

You're completely full of shit. What year did you go in? I did basic in late '05 back when they used to have "warrior week" in week 5. I've done so many push-ups I couldn't use a keyboard after basic. Hell our MTI got pissed off at us for talking too much when we were getting our dress blues we had to do pushups while wearing our low quarters, which were damn near impossible to shine the creases out. So how the fuck did you "did not do a single push-up. Not even one", especially when those are part of the PT test? How fucking pathetic do you have to be to stolen valor the chair force of all branches?
