Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins previously said the 43-day federal government shutdown delayed the rollout.Bloomberg News, which first reported the amount of the aid package, said growers of cattle and crops from grains to soybeans, cotton and potatoes will attend the White House event.

Whenever anyone talks about helping "farmers" in situations like these they're not talking about the people who actually grow crops or raise animals, they're talking about the billionaires like Bill Gates or Saudi royals who own thousands of acres of farmland that they've never even laid eyes on.

We don't have to harvest it by hand, but everything else IS by hand. This year it is not worth it, for the first time in years
