Trump acknowledged knowing of Epstein's sexual crimes against children but not speaking to authorities about it until details of the case began going public, during a panicked phone call to the lead investigator where he also declared his own innocence unprompted.

https://abcnews.go.com/US/police-chief-trump-told-goodness-stopping-epstein-2006/story?id=130010254

>A former Palm Beach, Florida, police chief who investigated Jeffrey Epstein in the mid-2000s told the FBI he had received a call from Donald Trump at the time to say "thank goodness you’re stopping him, everyone has known he’s been doing this," according to an FBI account of an interview with the ex-police chief in 2019.

>The Miami Herald was the first to report on the document.

>President Trump has repeatedly denied any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes and has said that he cut off contact with his former friend more than 20 years ago.

>Trump has claimed that he booted Epstein from Mar-a-Lago after discovering that he was poaching employees from the club’s spa.
>>
>The police chief’s name -- Michael Reiter -- is redacted from the document on the Department of Justice's website, but the information in the FBI statement tracks with previously public information about Reiter’s role in the investigation that began in 2005.

>Reiter’s detectives were investigating Epstein for allegedly recruiting girls as young as 14 years old to provide massages that turned sexual.

>The information about Trump’s alleged call makes up just a small part of a 4-page FBI report summarizing Reiter’s testimony in October 2019, two months after Epstein’s death.

>“DONALD TRUMP told [Reiter] that he threw EPSTEIN out of his club. TRUMP called the [Palm Beach Police Department] to tell him ‘thank goodness you're stopping him, everyone has known he's been doing this,” the FBI report of Reiter’s statement says.

>The alleged call from Trump came in July 2006, around the time the details of the police investigation became public, according to a source familiar with the timing.

>“TRUMP told him people in New York knew EPSTEIN was disgusting. TRUMP said MAXWELL was EPSTEIN's operative, ‘she is evil and to focus on her,’ the report continues. “TRUMP told [Reiter] that he was around EPSTEIN once when teenagers were present and TRUMP ‘got the hell out of there.' TRUMP was one of the very first people to call when people found out that they were investigating EPSTEIN,” the report of Reiter’s statement said.

>The account of Trump’s alleged call to Reiter, as summarized in the FBI document, has not previously been reported.
>>
>Reiter was a central figure in the first law enforcement probe of Epstein in Florida.

>After repeatedly sparring behind the scenes with local prosecutors, Reiter went public in 2006, expressing his displeasure with the local prosecutor’s decision to take the case to a grand jury instead of charging Epstein directly.

>Reiter apologized to the victims for the way the case had been handled by the prosecutor and then coordinated with federal authorities to launch another investigation into Epstein, which ultimately ended in Epstein’s non-prosecution agreement in 2008.

>Reiter did not immediately respond to a request for comment about the account of his statements to the FBI.

>Palm Beach Country Club is a Jewish country club. A lot of wealthy people are there and they flock together. Mar-A-Lago is a mixture of everyone. DONALD TRUMP told [redacted] that he threw EPSTEIN out of his club.TRUMP called the PBPD to tell him "thank goodness you' re stopping him, everyone has known he's been doing this". TRUMP told him people in New York knew EPSTEIN was disgusting. TRUMP said MAXWELL was EPSTEIN's operative,"she is evil and to focus on her".

>TRUMP told [redacted] that he was around EPSTEIN once when teenagers were present and TRUMP "got the hell out of there". TRUMP was one of the very first people to call when people found out that they were investigating EPSTEIN.

Keep in mind, Trump has publicly stated he knew nothing about Epstein's sexual crimes against children.
And Trump's DOJ is already denying this call ever happened.

What does this sound like he's saving his own ass by reporting other people
>>
>>1487890
Because he's trying to save his own ass by reporting other people
>>
..so what's the spin here? That he reported Epstein to the police in 2006?
>>
>>1487892
It's the Don Lemon defense.
He wasn't part of the operation he was just observing and reporting it
>>
>>1487892
He found out about the investigation, panicked, and called up the lead investigator to make sure he knew
1. Everyone in the New York elite knew about it, not just him (ignore the fact that he didn't say anything until the investigation went public)
2. He CERTAINLY had nothing to do with it
>>
>>1487892
you are close. Trump reported Epstein to the police chief who was already investigating him and admitted that he knew all the dirty deeds he was doing, but states that he (Trump) didn't do any of those things.

So that's half the story. That was in 2006. Trump has denied knowing anything about it at all ever since. Thats the rest of the story.

2025 Trump: I never knew Epstein was fucking kids
2005 Trump: Epstein has been fucking kids the whole time, everyone knew Epstein was fucking kids this whole time

The problem is MAGA shills have been conditioned to ignore Trumps lies
>>
>>1487896
The fact that his DOJ is already saying it's fake news, while the right wing propaganda machine is simultaneously is trying to say it proves he's the hero of the whole thing, shows how desperate the situation is becoming
They aren't even making sense anymore
>>
>>1487895
>He CERTAINLY had nothing to do with it
If he did then he would be snitching on himself. In fact, he had a legal responsibility to report it, because failing to do so would be misprision of a felony.

I went through the files for a few hours the other day, and discovered that Obama was going to give him a pardon if the charges ever became federal, but the prosecution was purposefully soft on him. So I don't see how this makes Trump look bad.
>>
>>1487901
>discovered that Obama was going to give him a pardon
no you didn't
>>
>>1487901
Whatever the legality, it's not a good look that he admits he not only knew about Epstein preying on underage girls but was even present for at least one situation where Epstein was actively engaging with them, and did absolutely nothing about it until he found out the investigation was already underway and he might be on the hook for something.
At best, AT BEST, he comes off looking like a complete moral coward.

>Trump acknowledged knowing of Epstein's sexual crimes against children but not speaking to authorities about it

this is factually false... how fucking retarded are you bot? the shits online for anyone to see when trump banned him from his places and informed fbi and willingly did a deposition without being subpoena

fuck off globalist faggot
>>
>>1487905
>the shits online for anyone to see when trump banned him from his places
Source?
>>
>>1487906
>Source?
do you accept drug induced hallucinations as valid sources?
nta, asking for a shill
>>
>>1487907
No, I prefer screenshots of tweets by right wing shills who were part of the "Phase One" photo op and have since completely stopped talking about Epstein
>>
>>1487902
Yeah.
>Jeffrey: Not funny. It's a horrible story. I am trying to get a pardon. So Obama cannot pardon me, even though he would, he says. Because I didn't commit a federal crime
>>
>>1487923
Damn. Trump's DOJ should really release the remaining millions of Epstein files they still haven't produced so we can get to the bottom of this.
Why is Trump protecting Obama of all people?
>>
>>1487924
The reason we are reading all these new Epstein documents is because Trump's DOJ released them
>https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/
What do you think this URL means?
>>
>>1487924
Are you mad because Obama was doing more to cover for Epstein's antics, or that Trump wasn't doing enough to cover for Epstein's antics?
>>
Lol Leavitt won't even say if the call is real or not.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/video/news/video-3602083/Video-Leavitt-says-alleged-2006-phone-call-proves-Trump-cut-Epstein.html

This is blowing up in their face in real time.
>>
>>1487925
Because they got forced to by congress. Which only came to that conclusion after they flat out lied that they even existed.

Patel and Bondi have lied repeatedly under oath about these files. This is objective fact.
>>
>>1487941
It literally took a veto proof majority from both Houses of Congress to get Trump's DOJ to even start releasing the files, which they still have not done in full in spite of being in violation of the law
>>
Also worth noting that Trump's Secretary of Commerce was forced to admit under oath today that he went to Little Saint James long after Epstein had been charged with sex crimes against children, contradicting previous lies he had cut ties with Epstein in 2005.
This entire administration is nothing but pedophiles and soulless ghouls willing to defend pedophiles.
>>
>>1487925
>The reason we are reading all these new Epstein documents is because Congress forced Trump's DOJ to release them after they fought tooth and nail to prevent their release, including shutting down the government
FTFY. Thats not even including the millions of files still unreleased because they haven't redacted all their friends yet.
>>
>>1487961
It's because releasing the files is antisemitic, unironically.
>>
>>1487901
>but the prosecution was purposefully soft on him
You mean Acosta, who was later hired by Donald during his first term. Migatards are so caught up in the incoherent and laughably false narrative they can’t help but make themselves look even more guilty
>>
Could this be the smoking gun we have wanted?
>>
>>1487975
The entire thing is a smoking crater, nothing is going to happen. The two parties have had an armistice over MAD using Israel's blackmail material since before either of us were alive. Nothing will happen.
>>
>>1487905
>trump banned him from his places
Lol because Trump was upset Epstein was stealing his girls. Literally. Here he is saying it:
https://youtu.be/mfPnC0BBJyQ
>He stole people that worked for me.
>I said, 'Don't ever do that again.'
>And he did it again.
>And I threw him out of the place.
Retard.
>>
>>1487905
Yeah this latest batch proved the story of him banning Epstein was complete bullshit. He and his buddies were still in regular contact with Epstein not just after that, but also after he was exposed as a pedo.
>>
>>1487975
The smoking gun proving what?
>A former Palm Beach, Florida, police chief who investigated Jeffrey Epstein in the mid-2000s told the FBI he had received a call from Donald Trump at the time to say "thank goodness you’re stopping him, everyone has known he’s been doing this," according to an FBI account of an interview with the ex-police chief in 2019.
That Trump worked with law enforcement to get pedos arrested?
>>
>>1488177
How is acknowledging that he knew what was happening, and was even present when Epstein brought out underage girls, but did nothing about it helping law enforcement?
>>
>>1488187
But he is helping law enforcement. That is what this news story is about
https://abcnews.go.com/US/police-chief-trump-told-goodness-stopping-epstein-2006/story?id=130010254
Why do you think a Police Chief is commenting on what Trump told him, if Trump was not in contact with law enforcement? How would that even be possible?
>>
>>1488230
Trump told him that AFTER Epstein was exposed. He's literally trying to cover his own ass by going "oh man good thing you stopped that guy. Like everyone totally knew he was bad news. And I'm not bad news because I'm happy you caught him."
>>
>>1488233
>He's literally trying to cover his own ass
By exposing himself to more scrutiny by releasing the files?
Liar.
>>
>>1488233
Also the White House won't even say whether or not the call even happened
...Because if it did it means at best he knew about and was even present when Epstein brought out underage girls and said and did nothing until the story went public.
>>
>>1488234
He was forced to you retard. Reminder he literally has tried at every step of the way to deny they even exist and you can go right now and see that he's actively being censored from them.
>>
>>1488234
The files that he was forced to release by a veto proof majority from both Houses of Congress, which his DOJ still has not done in full despite being legally compelled to do so?
>>
>>1488233
When you say AFTER Epstein was exposed what year are you talking about?
2006?
2016?
2026?
