Gee, it's as if America is winning the war or something. I was thinking the opposite given the posts here.

id ask you to paste the actual article text but i see it's from nypost

I thought we won two weeks ago, why are we still having to drop bombs?

>I thought we won two weeks ago, why are we still having to drop bombs?
The bombing will stop when they have zero launchers or leadership or nuclear equipment
>>
>>1498446
I was told they were out of launchers last week, leadership all died the first day, and all nuclear capabilities were completely obliterated last year

If the United sharts is WINNING. why are they begging for nato allies to send their navy to the strait?
>>1498449

The USA does not need any help defeating Iran. That much is apparent. The only question is how much of their country and how many of their leaders they will force us to take out before they capitulate. If it's 100%, so be it. I'm betting it won't be.

The USA did ask for other nations to send ships to escort tankers, because tankers are expensive and highly flammable, and we are busy killing Iranians.

The other nations said no, so now we are blowing up the missile bunkers that would target the escortless tankers.

All so that your gas prices don't go up too much while we are protecting the world from global jihadists. You're welcome.

Hope that helps!
>>
>>1498454
>All so that your gas prices don't go up too much
You already fucked that up when you started this stupid war because Benjamin Netanyahu snapped his fingers

>The USA did ask for other nations to send ships to escort tankers, because tankers are expensive and highly flammable, and we are busy killing Iranians.
If the US is "da greatest armie in le wurl" then SURELY they won't have a problem dealing with a rinky dinky country like Iran. They could singlehandedly deal with them. amirite?
They started this war without asking anyone yet now require allies to help them.
>so now we are blowing up the missile bunkers that would target the escortless tankers.
They claim to have been WINNING hugely yet 2 weeks later are begging for NATO to help them. Drumpf claimed multiple times to have destroyed everything.
>All so that your gas prices don't go up too much while we are protecting the world from global jihadists
They certainly don't seem to be going down. On the contrary prices of everything seem to be going up. Not to mention the disruption of entire supply chains and airlines. so ...thanks?

Actually, the markets had already factored in the war. Everyone saw it coming, America didn't get that many assets into position overnight or surreptitiously. Prices would have gone up slightly when it started, sure. But the real driver of the current shock is that Iran chose to bomb it's gulf state neighbors refineries.

No one had that on their bingo card.

That kind of damage doesn't get repaired overnight, and while the damage to the refineries has so far been largely minor from what I've seen, just the mere concept that Iran could do it sent ripples through the entire global futures market.

It was so egregious that Iran's president issued an apology, mid-war, for doing it. That's super rare. Nations never outright apologize like that and they never do it mid-war.
https://www.npr.org/2026/03/07/g-s1-112858/iran-president-statement
It was a result of the power vacuum after the supreme leader got extra crispy. The IRGC is a fascinating study in impetuous short term beneficial long term disatrous pride-based decision making. Now that the clerics and the political class have reasserted control, the IRGC is back on its leash, the gulf neighbor states are feeling that their stockpiles are safer, and the discussion has shifted to the strait.

Seriously them targeting the refineries was the single largest happening of this war so far. If you know, you know.

Now all is proceeding to "plan" as the Joker would say.
>>
>>1498466
>Gas prices aren't going down
They won't go down for some time yet. I'm going to be keeping an eye out for off ramps for my options but for now I'm holding.

Though it will be interesting to see how hard the USA hit them today. It might be the start of the regression to the mean, as far as the prices at the pump goes. I'm confident that I won't sell for at least a week, and you won't see a difference until after that.

It's easy to make money during an obvious war, anons. Learn how to do it and you can be laughing through the next one like I'm laughing through this one. It helps to have an education in geopolitics, either institutional or self-taught.
>>
>>1498468
to summarize, you have no clue what you're talking about and are just arguing for the sake of it. Got it!
>>
>>1498469
Keep thinking that if you like. An actual summary of all I've said:
1. Gas prices went up due to the war, but mostly due to Iran's unexpected targeting of neutral state refineries.
2. Even if the strait is reopened after today's bombings, oil will continue to rise for a bit and you certainly won't see any relief on gas for a longer period than that.
3. It's not hard to make money in a war.

Thank you for giving me the power to get you upset, but the feeling isn't mutual. I hope someone hugs you today.
>>
>>1498441
The next natural step for Iran is to target US space satellites.
>>
>>1498470
> neutral states
LMAO
>>
>>1498478
hah thanks for the giggle, esl shill. as if they could! that's a good one
>>
I'm sure Iran is replacing these launchers as fast as they keep getting hit. Their economy is doing great and their production is unaffected by the war. Their leaders are all sitting back in comfort as America keeps making these phyrric victories.
>>
>>1498467
Iran bombed refineries only after their own refinery had been bombed. Same with the desalination plant they only bombed in retaliation for their own being bombed first. The Iranians are replying escalation.
They apologised to the GCC countries because they were sorry they had to target them but their hand was forced, they are targeting US military bases and hotels where they have intel that US military or intelligence are holding up in, they wouldn’t have to do this if those troops stayed on their bases where they’re supposed to be rather than trying to hide amongst the civilian population. They have said they will not bomb the GCC if the GCC stops allowing the US to attack from the GCC, which is totally fair and would require GCC countries to grow some balls and kick the US out
>>
>>1498479
I considered putting neutral states in quotes, but thats what they effectively are. If you have a better lexeme to describe Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, SA, UAE, and Kuwait than "neutral" you can suggest it. Impartial? Uninvolved? Bystanders? Maybe just "gulf neighbors" and leave it at that.

Everyone expected the US bases on their soil to be attacked. No one expected the gulf neighbor states' sovereign oil stockpiles to be attacked.

Qatar etc were actively trying to assist in negotiations when Israel and America rug pulled them. They aren't Iran's enemies in this war, Islamic schisms aside.

>>1498482
No, they stopped targeting their refineries after the apology and have not done so again. Nor am I worried that they will unless the IRGC pulls a coup. But it's hard to coup a theocracy.
>>
>>1498484
Retard, the Israelis bombed the refinery in Tehran and it rained oil. Iran aren’t going to bomb oil unless their oil is bombed first, it’s why Trump made it very clear that the attacks on Kharg Island were military only because the Americans are afraid of hitting Iranian oil now
>>
>>1498442

whatever helps you sleep at night, champ.

NyPost is always first out the gate, they care less about verification than other sources but the mainstream is finally catching up as of 15 minutes ago.

https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/world/us-hits-iran-missiles-near-hormuz-with-5-000-pound-bunker-buster-bombs/ar-AA1YRZDA

>In the first major action to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, the US military has said it had hit Iranian missile sites near the critical waterway with some of the most powerful bombs in the American arsenal. The US Central Command announced that it had fired multiple 5,000-pound (approx. 2,268-kilogram) deep penetrator bombs on hardened Iranian missile sites along Iran's coastline near the Strait.

>"US forces successfully employed multiple 5,000-pound deep penetrator munitions on hardened Iranian missile sites along Iran's coastline near the Strait of Hormuz," Central Command said in a statement on X.

Today there was an attack on Iran’s South Pars gas fields. The Iranians responded by attacking Qatar’s Ras Laffan Industrial City which is the world’s largest LNG production facility.
This is another example of the war being escalated by the US and Israel targeting certain infrastructure and the Iranians responded with a retaliation in kind
>>
>>1498606
you will never be american, esl shill. gotta break a few eggs to make a dennys grand slam
>>
>>1498649
Confirmed it was an Israeli strike on the South Pars. Iran has retaliated with strikes on Qatar Ras Laffan, two Saudi refineries, and Habshan gas facility and the Bab oilfield both in UAE.
>>
Today's attacks are fantastic news. If Riyadh gets involved they will invoke their mutual defense treaty with Islamabad and Iran will be fighting another nuclear armed state as well as the Saudis. Keep it up Iran! Keep lashing out against everyone except America! I'm sure it will work one of these times. I'm sure everyone won't just take the easiest route and destroy you to protect their own money.
What a bunch of maroons. Israel playing 5d chess, Iran eating checkers pieces, yet again.
>>
>>1498659
If the Saudis didn’t allow the Americans to attack Iran from US bases in KSA then Iran wouldn’t target KSA. The Iranians have said as much and they aren’t targeting Saudi military only infrastructure as retaliation and whatever US military is there.
If the Saudis join the fight against Iran they’ll be on the same side as Israel and that’s what’s preventing them.
I won’t be able to explain this to you but mutual defence treaties are only activated in the event that you aren’t allowing attacks that started the war to emanate from within your territory
>>
>>1498706
>If the Saudis join the fight against Iran they’ll be on the same side as Israel and that’s what’s preventing them.
Even if the politicians ordered it, the military would not follow those orders. Unlike ours, which routinely follows orders to go to war they disagree with.

no one asked your opinion, esl shill

It seems the distraction from the Epstein Files is working. Nobody is talking about it anymore.
>>
>>1498722
Ok so you have a military that is effectively only obeying orders under pain of death, or there’s mass disobedience possibly mutiny possibly a coup. Neither of those things are good or indicative of military success. They aren’t joining the fight anyway, they would’ve already, more like they’re trying to get the Americans to leave
>>
>>1498738
>Proven wrong and immediately moves the goal posts.
The Saudi army incentivizes it's soldiers the same as any other army on earth, it's just better paid. Desertion is illegal in America too, the punishments are just less arabic
>>
>>1498756
What goalposts? Saudis will never fight for Israel like this >>1498659 speculates and there’s loads of reasons why. If Saudi does join against Iran it will be extremely unpopular

Saudi refinery was bombed by Iran as retaliation for Israel bombing the gas field. Saudi is a target because they are allowing the US to launch attacks against Iran from US bases within Saudi Arabia.
If the Saudis don’t want to be involved in this war they need to tell the Americans to leave, it’s insanity to claim neutrality whilst allowing a foreign military to wage war from inside your own territory.
I don’t know what Dubai chocolate is
>>
>>1498818
Why are you talking about Saudis? I asked you about Dubai
>>
>>1498813

Perfidious Albion now allowing the US to use British bases to launch strikes on Iranian missile sites targeting shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Iranians, rightfully, saying this is aggression against Iran and that the vast majority of British people do not want to be involved in this war, and that British lives are now at stake.
>>
>>1498818
>ITT: Brownoids mad that other brownoids dare to bet on the winning horse
Don't worry, soon Iran will cease to exist and the Saudis can take what they want from the rubble.
>>
>>1499168
Today the Israelis bombed the Iranian nuclear enrichment facility, later the Iranians bombed the Israeli nuclear enrichment facility in retaliation.
More damage was done to the Israelis, they admitted their interceptors failed and they’ve hundreds of casualties
>>
>>1499168
>winning
Iran? Cause the united sharts don't seem to be winning anything

>Still untouched despite all the bitching

Yeah, I'm thinking we're still winning, chucklefuck. Until the Iranians raise their sunken fleets, sail them all the way to Washington DC and force the capitulation of the US Government, we are still winning and will always be winning. Spending money is not an issue, we have literally infinite money, and spending lives is not an issue, we have a hundred million brown thirdies we can toss into the meat grinder. So yeah, we can't hear you over the sound of all this winning.
