CONSUMER SENTIMENT LOWEST RECORDED SINCE WW2
Consumer survey released Friday showed that sentiment declined 11% early this month to a reading of 47.6, lower than anything seen in the post World War II era, including during the Great Recession, the pandemic downturn and the historic inflation surge afterward.

INFLATION SKYROCKETS
Meanwhile, Americans’ expectations for inflation in the year ahead surged a full percentage point early this month to 4.8%, the biggest monthly increase in a year, when Trump unveiled his sweeping “Liberation Day” tariffs.

CONSUMER PRICES UP HIGHEST IN 2 YEARS
In a separate report Friday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the Consumer Price Index surged 0.9% in March, the sharpest monthly increase since 2022, pushing the annual rate to 3.3%, the highest in nearly two years.

Trumpflation happening again!

So you're telling me we've erased everything we've gained after the pandemic?
>>
>>1505111
More like the shitstorm continues. Things haven't ever really gotten cheaper again. Sure gas prices dropped a bit for about 48 months but the oil cartels always find a way to nudge it back upto around $100 a barrel.

The increase in gas cost this year is projected to suck up that extra tax money some Americans are getting from the big, beautiful bill.

What a coincidence?!?!
>>
>>1505144
Lol, the big bill of bullshit's tax cuts are going to the people profiteering off the oil price spikes.
>>
>>1505111
Yes, any damage from trump biden repaired has been wiped out by trickle down economics and trump's war against Iran.
With how terrible trump is with the economy, we might actually hit depression, not just a recession
>>
>>1505147
lol.
>If I keep saying it, it will be true.
lel.
>>
>>1505147
Thats what they want. Their masters don't want the American people to be well off, they want them to be poor and miserable.

We will be experiencing a depression level economic downturn. Its locked in.
>>
>>1505174
I can’t even imagine that. It’s terrifying.
>>
>>1505174
True of Democrats. Well, they say they want people to be well off, and if I give them the benefit of the doubt, people who vote Democrat are simply kind idiots unaware of what they're doing.
Sad if you think about it like that, innit?

That's Republicans.

They're celebrating the new inflation report

Guess they don't care about the affordability crisis huh?

Most Americans agree we were better off under Biden

>>1505235
Yup. Trump and Vances approval ratings are at historic lows
>>
>>1505233
Never did
>>
>>1505235
Thus fitting with my hypothesis that most Americans are retarded.
>>
>>1505344
No shit. We elected Trump twice.
