President Trump has called Iran's response to US proposals for ending the war "totally unacceptable." Iran proposed an immediate ceasefire, the lifting of a US naval blockade, and guarantees against further attacks. Despite a largely observed ceasefire, tensions remain high. Trump stated the war would be "over quickly," while Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu emphasized the need to dismantle Iran's nuclear enrichment sites.

Iran has threatened severe consequences for vessels not complying with its demands in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical oil route. Meanwhile, a British warship is being deployed to safeguard shipping in the area, provoking further Iranian warnings.

>"End the war!"
>Okay, as long as you stop doing war things to us.
>"THAT'S TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!"
>>

The sticking points seem to be about the nuclear material and the war in Lebanon, surface level stuff. I think it’s because the Iranians are simply not going to accept any promises, any of this phased in stuff, because they can see how that went in Gaza.
The Americans cannot be trusted to keep their word on anything, they will try to get Iran to commit to stipulations that cannot be easily reneged on like giving up their nuclear dust, meanwhile the Americans will promise to lift sanctions and stop Israel from bombing Lebanon but slowly. The Americans are bad faith actors now and Iran don’t need the ceasefire if they are only going back to the status quo, they need more than that and they need it to be difficult for the US to launch further future attacks against them.
Last thought is it is in America’s interest for this conflict to end sooner rather than later mostly due to domestic economic concerns as it seems the US no longer cares about their diplomatic reputation
>>
>>1514048
Trump doesn't care about domestic economic concerns either. His guys are still making money, the American people can eat shit.
>>
>>1514051
I’ll go along with this. Trump won’t want to end the war if he can still make money from it
>>
>>1514048
Mind you America did kill the guy that was actually more moderate and didn't want to build the nuke.
This entire situation is one friend telling another friend to poke the hornet's nest with a stick and both friends lashing out over the hornets wanting nothing to do with them
>>
>>1514067
>Trump won’t want to end the war if he can still make money from it
then supply even more weapons to benjamin netanyahu as trump wanted in his second term
>>
Iran stipulated that isreal must stop its attacks in Lebanon, so of course this was never going to happen
>>
The Tranians are getting very close to crossing our red lines, after giving them multiple chances and off ramps. If they keep playing these games than I guess President Trump will have to do what needs to be done ... We didn't start this war, but by God, we are gonna finish it.
>>
>>1514208
Remind me which red line trump hasn’t backed down from yet?
>>
>>1514225
How about instead I just remind you that chopping off your dick and consooming hormone pills will not make you a woman. You will never be a woman. No one will ever see you as a woman. You will always be a dickless freak.
>>
>>1514261
>No argument
Trump's a bitch and will bitch out in every way except admitting he lost this war. Thanks for the $6 gas.
>>
>>1514261
LOL. it's always funny when you lose an argument and bring up your fetish for no reason. how is your life this humiliating?
>>
>>1514271
You will pay for the gas
You will eat ze bugs
And you will be happy

Still not going to stop until every Iranian is dead though, so fuck you, traitor. Shouldn't care more about your fucking gas prices than you do genociding browns. It objectively improves the world in which we all live and somebody has to do it.
>>
>>1514298
That's almost right, but republicans want you miserable.
>>
>>1514298
>You will pay for the gas
>You will eat ze bugs
>And you will be happy
Wait so is Trump the one telling us to eat the bugs? Because he's definitely the one telling everyone to pay for the gas.

>Still not going to stop until every Iranian is dead though, so fuck you, traitor.
Lmao Trump has bailed out of every single threat of annihilation he's made.
>>
>>1514364
>Lmao Trump has bailed out of every single threat of annihilation he's made.

No he hasn't, that's fake news. You've entirely mischaracterizedthe situation in ord years to make trump look like he's losing the Iran war. What's really been happening is he's being lenient and merciful, but the hammer blow will come if the Tranians continue to test President Trump.
>>
>>1514378
>No he hasn't, that's fake news.
Oh so he hasn't promised "ANNHILATION, NEXT TUESDAY!" then backed out saying he had talks that Iran said didn't happen like, four times now?
>>
>>1514381
>Oh so he hasn't promised "ANNHILATION, NEXT TUESDAY!" then backed out saying he had talks that Iran said didn't happen like, four times now?
He didn't do it because the Iranians immediately agreed to a cease-fire.
>>
>>1514382
Which we then immediately violated, at which point he extended it another two weeks, then another two weeks after that.

Face it anon; Trump is constantly bitching out then making excuses afterwards.
>>
>>1514384
I seem to recall you dudes where spiraling when he threatened to end their civilization. You're now spiraling that he didnt end their civilization.

Pick a lane.
>>
>>1514386
Anon, you're the one claiming this ends with Iranians getting bombed to oblivion. Yet Trump has repeatedly backed off and bitched out of doing so; if that's the ultimate end goal why is he stopping?
>>
>>1514407
He's showing mercy and lenience for the sake of humanity and stop the killing. Iran started this war 47 years ago, we only ask that they stop. Or we will be forced to finish this fight
>>
>>1514412
>He's showing mercy and lenience for the sake of humanity and stop the killing.
By threatening to kill them?

>Iran started this war 47 years ago, we only ask that they stop. Or we will be forced to finish this fight
This is cope. This current war started when we bombed the entire old admin of Iran to death right in the middle of negotiations. And again, if the only way this ends is blowing up the whole country, why is Trump bitching out?
>>
>>1514423
>By threatening to kill them?
NTA but yeah. Trump could say 'fuck this shit' and turn Iran into a glass pit if he stopped caring about civilians. Threats are the moderate option at this point.
>>
>>1514386
I can't, I just want to complain because I want to win the midterms.
>>
>>1514207
If we turn this around and, hypothetically, the US is asking for Hezbollah to stop attacking Israel.
It’s not a controversial proposition, Iran would call Hezbollah and they would stop.
There’s supposed to be a ceasefire in Lebanon now, the second ceasefire of the war, Israel broke it and the first one.
If Trump doesn’t want peace in Lebanon we should be asking why is that, what’s the benefit to the US of allowing Israel to continue that conflict and conversely what’s the harm to the US of ending that conflict?
It’s similar with the Strait of Hormuz, the Iranians had allowed it to open (this was after the second ceasefire in Lebanon), and it was open until the Americans started their blockade of Iranian ports. What’s the benefit to the US closing the strait?
The only thing I can think of is that Bibi can avoid his corruption charges

Trump says Iran ceasefire is on 'massive life support'

There is no ceasefire. The Americans ended it with their blockade

>He's showing mercy and lenience for the sake of humanity and stop the killing. Iran started this
Tell that to the families of girls murdered at a school which was bombed by Trump's military

Right wing funda-mental-ist Christians are very big on Trump right now, and despite the denials by them very recently, that's a golden calf at a golf course. Also:
Matthew 5:7: 'Blessed are the merciful, for they shall be shown mercy
Matthew 5:9: 'Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God
Those and the first two of the ol' Big 10 - and just about all of the rest of such, for that matter - means that Trump should have plenty of company in that special little place in Hell that'll be for them. You'll be joining them too, with the way you're going on & on with your lies in /news/, >>1514412 . The 9th of the ol' Big 10.

>President Trump will have to do what needs to be done
Which is what?
>We didn't start this war, but by God, we are gonna finish it.
How?
Also good job with the boomer larp for this b8. I genuinely appreciate it. It sounds exactly like my Kentuckian grandfather did (God rest his soul)
