What car or bike would you choose to have fun in mountains?
>>28597040Alpine A110
>>28597040>Stelvio PassI normally wouldn't see myself picking a CUV to have fun in twisty mountain roads, but taking a Stelvio Quadrifoglio through Stelvio Pass is only fitting.I'll use the cargo space to load up on wine and wheels of parmigiano reggiano while I'm there.
1990 Rover Mini Cooper
The RAM 2500 (Hemi)
>>28597095whoa shit, bro. is this thing for sale?
Kia Sportage X-Pro prestige with skid plates and locking center diff (it really makes a difference on shitty roads, and I've taken it on many of them)
>>28597095my work has me driving one of these things across mountain roads between north carolina and tennessee, its actually really nice.
>>28597040929 fireblade

I ride my low rider s around the mountains, in fact I took a ride up to the top of pikes peak on it today. I enjoy it a lot more than other bikes I’ve had (zx6r and XSR900)
>>28597109Believe it or not, it is! Asking 26k, DM me for details!
>>28597040A friend of mine used to drive his big ol Caprice Classic from Estes Park to Longs Peak, for a hike up from about 7000ft to about 11,000. In general I prefer low elevations, at least beneath 2000ft. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJdb_S7dgwI&list=RDMMNnJaRF95TCY&index=19

>>28597319they had to make this pos as wide as possible so it could turn.
>>28597362I've been to a lot of places where it feels like the ideal setup would be a truck to get you to the trailhead, and then towing an ATV or dirt bike to get you as close as possible to the views.
I would like to drive that in a old small 911
The XT250 is based and I love mine so much. Practical for on and off road, fast enough for US and state highways, on the interstate I can just ride in the right lane. Then just ride up the mountains off road because it's so lightweight it's actually usable off road unlike a DR650 which is just for light trails.
>>28597407quads are better for beer-fueled exploration, bikes are vastly more capable of getting crazy places. Even that 700 would scare me, gimme a 450 or 500 and a blue heeler to ride on thee back.

funny enough I saw a test for that in a german car magazine lately, managed to find the video here https://youtu.be/YjPgv5b6wq8They tested a whole bunch of cars subjectively for which one is most fun going up the Großklockner-pass within legal boundaries. tldr: Golf GTI CS won, honorable mentions: Jaguar f-type, Hyundai i20N

>>28597362I use one of these for work around the property. They're boring on trails because it's a CVT.
>>28599844So you can scare women in it. I've gotten asked for rides by women in the Locost more than any other car I've owned.
