1996 Chevy Corsica. It seemed like a fine commuter for $2K and was elder-owned so low-mileage, but no. Rust had ravaged the bottomside more than my visual inspection led me to believe and it was toast within a year.

1986 300zx non turbo 5 speed. Was only 1000 bucks but it was so nigger rigged and beaner rigged on top of it being an 80s nissan and old in general (see: rotted vacuum line and dashpot hell), it was way more headache and bullshit than it was worth. Still though when it wasn't being a giant pain in the cock it was pretty fun despite being slow, especially with the t-tops off (which also by some fucking miracle didn't even leak while the hatch and tail lights leaked like a sieve).
