When it came out in the US it was priced near a corvette and was one of the fastest cars on the road slapping all kinds of performance vehicles from more prestige brands.Nissan immediately jumped up the price big time year after year until it was crazy expensive and getting gapped by every "supercar" from the usual brands and couldn't even justify its price premium over a corvette.Also if you're a normie it doesn't look like anything special. I think a normie would look at you confused if you said that brick on the road over there costs $200,000 but if they saw a c8 stingray they'd ask if its a ferrari. Styling matters.Still wish I had one, they are pretty sick. I like that the VA wrx copies so many design elements.
