It's still hilarious to me stellantis thought they could change the grill on a Fiat 500x so Americans would buy it. It honestly gives me some faith in the average consumer this abomination failed.

A very big discount for all the car you were getting. Arguably a more 'pure' experience too, one of the last major performance machines to use hydro-mechanical steering. Or as John Huffman put it in the last CnD review of the Evo X, "The only way the hydraulically assisted power steering could be more engaging is if the driver held the tie-rod ends in his bare hands".

Whoever the guy at honda is in charge of design, I must admit they did a good job. The new civic and accord are some of the only examples I can think of where the contemporary model actually improved in looks. If a car with the silhouette of the later were made as-is 20 years ago without telling you what it was, one might even think they were looking at a premium luxobarge. (The way they gutted the accord's performance though is unforgiveable.)
Some may not like to admit it, but the guys at gm on the corvette team have been doing a better job than almost everyone else lately at keeping the torch alive. One of the few outfits out there still doing cool things and making meaningful improvement rather than backsliding.
Porsches have always leaned on subtle understatement in design language, but in an era where most of their continental neighbors have been going full retard trying to be 'distinctive', that circumspect approach has proven advantageous.
The way the frontal area of amg models is just completely taken up by the grille, and blowing up the trifoil badge to fill out the free space to match, is honestly just great. Both cool and functional, something that looks like it means business for real, without squinty angery headlights or other design copes.
The gr86 looks good in person, much better when looking down at it from head height than low angle magazine shots. A commendable effort at the classic touring car archetype. In which I don't think they succeeded in bettering the mx-5, but it is good that they tried. There should be more competitive options in this space.
The prius would probably never be the first thing that came to anyone's mind when they think of 'soulful', but the facelift was a real meaningful improvement of looks to something not depressing, perhaps gratifying even, and that should be commended.
The s650 mustang is not as good looking as the s550, but it's still a good reprieve from the masses of cuckover traffic.

They are everywhere. Its an italian car that needs high maintenance . People neglect them and blame fiat/jeep for poor quality. Fiat is partly to blame because even in the service manuals they neglect to say anything about cleaning the oil feed line or the multiair filter. The oil change interval is also too high. Which causes the turbo oil feed and multiair filter to clog/coke up. Both the turbo and multiair unit are over $1000.Im mostly speaking of the 1.4 turbo but the same applies for the 2.4 aside from the turbo line

I must be too old now. I haven't been able to tell the difference in any of McLarens cars past the SLT and haven't bothered remembering their names. Such a boring car company honestly.

Does anyone actually follow this brand enough to tell them apart?

maybe not new-new, but I actually had one with a standard tranny. boondocked in it (seats folded into cots), partied in it (had a tailgate), and drove it across the US a few times, once from North Carolina to Salt Lake City, UT in one sitting. never had any issues with it, though, they are known to absolutely rape their front ends. 10/10 vehicle. unfortunately mine didn’t have AWD, though.

Modern Minis are basically as big as a typical hatchback which is pretty big. The last one I'd be willing to accept is the early 2000s one despite already being BMW.

No. Mclarens are for trustfund wannabe yuppies who are too young to know the word "yuppie." He bought this car because he wanted a ferarri without the associated ferrari corp cock sucking and/or boot licking. He mainly uses it to post on instagram, and his profile name is pasted in both quarter windows in a feminine font. He has a decent girlfriend but is too thin to physically lift her. He is a surprisingly decent guy, but his mannerisms and opinions make me want to PUNCH HIS FUCKING LIGHTS OUT.

These are very common where i live, probably just as family vehicles. I can't blame them for not offroading though. There aren't really any cool looking family SUVs, most are just ugly millennial blobshit.
The bronco and wrangler have a boxy shape, and people buy it for the looks alone.

I don't hate them. Basically Ford Flex-coded. Lightyears better than the crossovers that they used to be for sure.
