You know, the alternate detour route only adds 7 miles to your trip. Maybe 15 minutes more.

Wait ‘till you see the clip of the MIATA gliding over the water.
>>
Are we just gonna pretend that water doesn't fuck with the internals of an ELECTRIC vehicle?
>>
>>28602912
not pictured: the ev crapping out a few miles later because a droplet of water seeped into a circuit and shorted it out
>>
Heavy water fucks everything on a car. Brakes suspension electricals radiators all of it. Filthy contaminated water seeping into every crack and seam. It's stupid to drive through water unless you absolutely need to. Probably triple as stupid to shove an over-computerized modern car in it.

Not pictured, 3 years later, the $14,500 bill for that teslas multiple ground fault diagnosis and PCM replacement. Not to mention the degradation of the doors and windows seals.

>>

The issue with BMWs in this situation is the intakes being as close to the ground as possible for some reason.
They're usually at the very bottom of the front lips.

That being said, fuck fording water that deep with any car short of some absolute beater shitbox suv/truck. Imagine the mold from all that water.

You didn't get far enough into RC stuff. The gay ones at Walmart are electric, but the good ones literally run on nitromethane at like 30k+ rpm.
>>
>>28620355
>You didn't get far enough into RC stuff.
Far in historical sense?
>the good ones literally run on nitromethane
The old ones. The one you posted is a flimsy Traxxas so probably a two decades old design at the very least.
Brushless electric beats nitro up to 1:7 scale easily, beyond that you usually get a proper 2-stroke gas ICE instead of nitro (because lol no power) and brushless is still competitive with it even in 1:5 scale. Becomes too heavy and expensive after that, so I guess that's where the reasonable boundaries for EVs are at the moment.
