>buy used Jeep wrangler a couple of weeks ago>2016 with 83k miles>uh oh weather is getting a little chilly>turn on the heat>air blows coldanyone have any ideas about what I can do? doing a little bit of research, the most common causes of this are the blend door actuators or a clogged heater core. but, in either of those cases it sounds like the air should blow hot on one side (drivers side or passenger's side) and I have cold air on both sides. It would suck if the heater core was shot, because that's a dash-out job to fix, and it costs several thousand dollars...
Isnt it every car buyers dream thatAC BLOWS COLD???________________________________Sent from Paul's Iphone 5"Ass grass or cash- no one rides for free"
>>28607479feel the water hoses going into the heater core, are they both hot?if they are it means hot coolant gets to the heater core but it doesnt deliver heat. that again means air door issue, a typical jeep problem. its often an out-with-dash problem but google around there might be bandaids and workarounds like cutting a hole behind the glovebox and installing some aftermarketparts. that was the case with the same problem on grand cherokee.
