Do people really wash their cars once a week?
>>28615329Isn't it enough to wait for the rain?
>>28615329Yes.And I wash my car with dish soap.Clear coat is overrated!
>>28615329I don't wash my car
>he doesn't wash his car once a dayLolling
I used to when my cars were new. Now once a month is good
>not spending every waking second making sure your car is spotlessngmi
It takes like 5 minutes to wash a car. I do it twice a week.
>>28615329I have to. My street is dirt and dust is getting kicked up condtantly.
>>28615329havent washed my trugg in 10 years
Do people really wash their foreskin once a week?
>>28615537A lot of Americans don’t have to.
>>28615541Americans have foreskin. Otherwise, how would you sneak food into theaters?
>>28615529>It takes like 5 minutes to wash a car.You don't rinse do you
>>28615556I use mine to store coins
>>28615329Inuse a touch less car wash 2 times a month.$12 and gets my car to 90% clean.Good enough.
>>28615586>take sponge in one hand and hose in other>spray side of car >wipe it>rinse it>repeat on other sides>give car quick rinse>use towell to dry windows Done in five mins.
It put concrete acid on my shitty corolla today because the cement dust was starting to build up pretty bad
>>28615329Do people really park their car outside instead of in their garage?
>>28615622>He uses a sponge>LaughingGirls.jpg
>>28615329I wash mine 2-5 times a week. The detail shop is on my way home from work, I get unlimited hand wash/dry for $40 a month, and they have vacuums and windex so I can detail the inside. It's great. I detail my motorcycle every time I finish riding, since it only takes about 10 minutes.
>>28615556Americans are circumcised, so we have to sneak snacks in inside our guns. Picrel.
>>28615705i wash mine 2-5 times per daycommuters in traffic notice how clean i am, everyone is really impressed
>>28615329>>28615356my coworker washes it EVERY time after it rains. even i think that's overboard. my bro does it every week, practically a full detail. meanwhile i try to wash mine every fortnight, but usually im too lazy for that...
>>28615329I live on a dirt road. I get a wash every time I fill up, which is about every other week.
>>28615701How the fuck else do you remove the stuff that doesn't rinse off?
I'm gonna get my car painted, it's old paint so I just let God wash the car. (Rain)I'd probably wash it more if the paint was worth preserving
>>28615728Nta but microfibre towel
Just wait for the rain
>>28615874Same here, though I do occasionally wash underneath and then recoat with lanolin to keep the rust away.
>>28615902That's what the sponge is made of. You can just use it better because it's a big sponge.
>>28615329I wash it twice a year usually. Full deep clean and wax each time I do it.
My neighbor (white) washes his wife's (asian)) luxury (generic bmw) SUV every week, but I don't see him washing his car hardly ever
>>28615329i wash the outside every 2 weeks because its ceramic coated and i try to vacuum the inside every week.
>>28615715I don't give a shit about other people. I like how it looks when I'm sitting in my garage drinking beer and making pissin hot hand loads for my Blackhawk.
Every time you wash it puts scratches/swirl marks in the clear coat. Unless you spend your entire day off being surgically anal retentive about keeping the wash mitt clean. I try to do that as little as possible, might polish it once a year. The coin-op self-serve pressure wash bays are perfect for the more regular wash. Just don't use the fucking brush on anything you care about.
>>28616055>Every time you wash it puts scratches/swirl marks in the clear coat.ThisI foam cannon and pressure wash every months as a touchless maintenance wash. Once or twice a year I'll do a full detail, clay and wax but that's about it. Oh I also clean the interior when it needs it, leather stuff gets washed and conditioned every 3ish months
>>28615329I was it like once every 2 months or something
>>28615939Sponges aren't made of microfiber towels, they're made of sponge hence the name sponge.
>>28615983Happy wife happy life...
I do it every other week but I only drive the car 2 days a week
>>28615716Rain spots are fucking cringe, I wipe it down when I get home from work after it rains
>>28615329I do every 2-4 weeks for a quick wash. Basically once road grime has accumulated on the back of the car, and the brake dust has made the wheels look dull. Wax it twice a year, maybe clay it in the spring but not always. Might wash it as needed after long trips to visit family just to get the bugs and stuff off the front.I vacuum out the inside every friday evening since I tend to leave the windows partially cracked over the week dust and pollen tend to get on stuff.
>>28615716Full detail quarterly, maintenance wash weekly.
I wash my Tahoe enough to clear out anything that I think will hold moisture in a spot that could rust out, otherwise I leave it dirty and park next to all the new shiny pavement princess trucks every chance I get.
>>28615329I also vacuum mine once a week
Washed mine weekly for years but this year I've pretty much said fuck it and haven't washed it all summer.
It's a car, not a job.
