Find a flaw.
>>28617263>trannyverse>just a riced out Jetta
>>28617263I'll start with three, if I could be assed to get a pic of the back, it would be another few easy. And that's ignoring the drivetrain and interior quality entirely.
Does it come with an i5?
It's gay
1 ugly ass steering wheel2 interior is a plastic mess with shitty design3 h*ldex fake quattro
I don't think cars like the RS Tree, A45 etc measure up against sports saloons, especially used. I was in a position for a fast daily driver and for less money than an equivalent RS Tree my bruvva, I got this which has a supercharged 3.0, RWD and the suspension is much better (double wishbone front and integral link rear). If you want to stick with the germans obviously the M340i and V6 C43 AMG are great as well
>>28617263lexus is better
we're all priced out and they don't lose much value/no one is willing to sell their rs3 so the used market is pretty much not there as well.>>28617317okay but how often does it break down?
>>28617263The goddamn touch surface steering wheel "button" cancer. Just when VW realized it was retarded and starts moving away from it, Audi starts putting it in all their new shit. They never learn.
waste of money. just get a golf gti cs
>>28617455NTA but my F-Type had no problems in the five years I had it. I did maintain it pretty religiously though
>>28617263too heavy no manual
>>28617461the craziest thing is the a3 has the previous steering wheel and the rs3 has touch!!!
>>28617263> entire engine + gearbox hanging in front of the front axis
>>28617263The main flaw is that the mk8 golf r exists. You're compromising performance for interior space with the transverse layout in a package with less usable space than a hatchback
>>28617615why is audi allowed to market haldex slop as quattro
>>28617615>Engine IN FRONT of the axleWhy do they keep doing this?
>>28617620it maximizes interior space at the expense of audisteer>>28617618rs3 and golf r's haven't used haldex in almost 5 years
>>28617620because most driver will never drive it hard enough realize how awful the handling is
>>28617625>rs3 and golf r's haven't used haldex in almost 5 yearsSort of true, but they replaced it with the GKN system as used in the focus rs. The basic functionality is the same as a haldex system
>>28617638Similar to the haldex in decoupling the rear wheels for fuel economy, but it doesn't use the brakes to regulate wheel speed and is capable of a 50/50 torque split
>>28617625my bad, if it uses real quattro my opinion on the rs3 has improved significantly
>>28617642>and is capable of a 50/50 torque splitSo's haldex. The only difference is that it overspeeds the rear axle and can send all of that 50% to either rear wheel.
what reason is there not to put proper quattro in an rs3. is there nothing that can be done about engine layout
>>28617263No manual
>>28617705>is there nothing that can be done about engine layoutNo, you can't put a longitudinal engine and gearbox in the MQB platform.
>>28617873such a shame
the facelift model has been improved quite a bit, especially when it comes to the torque vectoring. only downside is the new garbage steering wheel, but you can always just buy the pre facelift wheel and swap them. picrel facelift fun
