>carcarenut and his 2nd review channel
>speedkar99
>realistick
>savagegeese
>sean chandler
>>

i like smith and sniff. its a podcast about 2 british blokes that talk about cars and are enthusiasts about shit no one cares about (but me). jonny smith was on 5th gear and richard porter worked on top gear. the podcasts get a little out of hand and are funny
>>
>AAAAAAAAAAAAAA REV UP YOUR ENGINES AND FUCK FUCKING FORD IM GONNA MAKE 9/11 LOOK LIKE A JOKE
>>
I enjoy watching Vice grip garage, but holy shit I'm glad I don't live in USA sometimes. Wrenching on stuff over there looks like such a shit show of cheap shit constantly breaking
>dodge dart with big block conversion, supposedly drivable
>fuel filler neck leaks everywhere because they didn't use a hose clamp from factory, just rubber hose pushed into the tank which rotted
>big block overheats in traffic, add 10" (small) electric fan
>fan burns up the "brand new" 65A alternator at night, battery goes flat
>tiny alternator uses an EXTERNAL fucking voltage regulator
>brand new voltage reg in the engine bay
>spare voltage reg in the trunk already, since obviously it's shit and dies all the time
>has to buy 3 batteries to limp it to the next biggest town and buy a reman alt of the same type

Every one of his long form vids, rescues, revive and drive, he fights with cheap chintsy shit constantly breaking and making his trip take longer than it should. Alernators, fuel tank/pump and ignition systems seem to be particularly troublesome. Or is it all staged for content?
>>
>>28618776
Oh and forgot to mention, obviously the reman alt couldn't give more than 12.2v when driving down the highway.

M539 Restorations
Simon Fordman
Carmudgeon Show Podcast
Garbage Time
Curious Cars
Fortnine
There used to be a channel called Car Bros that kinda did satire videos from way back, I think the channel is dead now
>>
I like Autoalex (even though taylor is a faggot in many ways he's still funny). Also like Rust Bucket Motorsport, Whistlin Diesel and Nathan Karhu.

>>fuel filler neck leaks everywhere because they didn't use a hose clamp from factory, just rubber hose pushed into the tank which rotted
i don't see how a hose clamp would've changed this
>>big block overheats in traffic, add 10" (small) electric fan
>>fan burns up the "brand new" 65A alternator at night, battery goes flat
lol probably a clogged radiator or some shit. back then it was normal for the temp gauge to creep up a bit when idling, but at some point it was decided that most people would panic too much so they just make the needle not move a cunt hair unless something's actually wrong.
>>tiny alternator uses an EXTERNAL fucking voltage regulator
old mopars like these had external voltage regulators all the time, iirc they moved to internal regulators in 1972, the year they also introduced electronic ignition. if your car is still running an external regulator it's best to get a solid state one because those are far more reliable than the conventional mechanical ones which has moving parts that do fail over time.
>>
Humble Mechanic and Deutsche Auto Parts are alright on their own, but the videos where they work together are pure kino.
>>
>>28618909
yeah those guys are great, i enjoy their cheap car road trip videos
>>
>>28618715
My go-to's are curious cars, ed's auto reviews, rare classic cars and automobiles, uncle tony's garage, and dead dodge garage
>>
>>28618715
>Ed's Auto Reviews
>wonderful world

>Watch Wes Work
>pretty much all of these too >>28618782

I am hyperautistic and CANNOT stand clickbait "we really made this garage do it off-camera" channels with fake chemistry and bullshit, I want to see shit actually get done, not listen to a retard talk for half an hour.
Anyway
>SMA
>PHAD
>Car Care Nut
>>
>>28618715

fuck that drunk driver
>>
>>28621390

>Garbage Time
That's car gore and I can't stop watching. The fact they have a running fleet despite what they do is amazing. I think the only thing they actually fixed better than before was the van, Polska Fiat, and the Honda.

The vegemite one was pretty awful. That looked like literal shit being poured into the engine. I had to double-take the thumbnail.
>>
>>28618715
Besides one's already mentioned itt, I've found myself watching EverydayDriver and ThrottleHouse the most often when looking up car reviews.
>>
SuperfastMatt (intelligent engineer capable of fabrication)
Garbage Time

Do /o/utists only watch reviews/diy or also entertaining /o/ content? Personally been enjoying Tom's Refurb a lot recently.
Also, some other channels I've recently been watching:
-Grauslick
-Haters Garage
-Camden Bowen
-Mr Hewes
-WheelemVerb
-Bemfa
-Occasional Mat Armstrong video.
Used to watch whistlindiesel but his content is complete garbage these days.
>>
lately i've been watching lots of comfy bedtime car history channels like

edsautoreviews
corsicar
greenhawkdrive
bigcar

>Every one of his long form vids, rescues, revive and drive, he fights with cheap chintsy shit constantly breaking and making his trip take longer than it should.
You do realize that this is the entire point of the videos right? you can go literally anywhere else on jewtube if you just want to see faggots driving a car on a roadtrip.

>>28621431
Yeah, Chris is still very much alive, it's just that he's written himself into a corner, because at some point, you're gonna teach everyone how to fix everything. What are you gonna do now? do the same videos with the same knowledge again?
>>
>>28618782
>Fortnine
love their videos, even though I'm not a motorcycle guy per se
>>28618895
>Whistlin Diesel and Nathan Karhu.

paul is such a shithead. the golf RS3 conversion series was great
>>
>Just Rolled In
is the only car channel I ever watch. Just mechanic-submitted videos of the most fucked-up machines that roll into ppl's shops. Hilarity.
I don't enjoy reviews or watching bros try to act like super youtubers or do silly scripted shit that Top Gear did better 20 years ago.
>>
I do cars
Savagegeese
The occasional vice grip garage episode
Robot cantina does fun tinkering projects
Gears and gasoline is fun occasionally, although I get the feeling that Ben lin is kind of a dumbass with an ego IRL, the guy helping with the MR2 build is incredibly nice, met him recently
>>28618909
I'm not even a VW guy and I like watching their content

I watched a lot of this guy's videos when I was shopping for a used v6 lexus 350. I eventually bought one. Pretty confident these things are bullet proof. Boring as shit vehicles, though.
The only car channel I regularly watch is savagegeese ( I just love their shit. they do wayyyyyyy too many porsche videos though, b ut they have a good porsche rep so I guess if they get free cars to test, why not)
and the carpassionchannel (miata focused)
