lol probably a clogged radiator or some shit. back then it was normal for the temp gauge to creep up a bit when idling, but at some point it was decided that most people would panic too much so they just make the needle not move a cunt hair unless something's actually wrong.

old mopars like these had external voltage regulators all the time, iirc they moved to internal regulators in 1972, the year they also introduced electronic ignition. if your car is still running an external regulator it's best to get a solid state one because those are far more reliable than the conventional mechanical ones which has moving parts that do fail over time.

Humble Mechanic and Deutsche Auto Parts are alright on their own, but the videos where they work together are pure kino.

I watched a lot of this guy's videos when I was shopping for a used v6 lexus 350. I eventually bought one. Pretty confident these things are bullet proof. Boring as shit vehicles, though.
The only car channel I regularly watch is savagegeese ( I just love their shit. they do wayyyyyyy too many porsche videos though, b ut they have a good porsche rep so I guess if they get free cars to test, why not)
