If you hate pony cars, can't afford a Supra but also think Miatas are gay you get a GR/BRZ. I still hate the first gens, haven't had any experience with the 2nd gens, would take a Miata over either. When the first gens came out I remember reading a review from Japan that basically called it a "white belt car." That's not the insult that it may seem although it is a little back handed. The dyes used in traditional martial arts belts would fade over time, meaning that because nothing came after black-belt given enough time (experience) that belt would fade back to being white and the cycle would start over. Your journey is supposed to start and end with cars like these, not be spent with it.Unfortunate that the times we live in means that anything small or RWD is made for enthusiasts when if it had come out in the 90s it would have been just another car. Its stupid that a fully loaded one now costs more than an LT1 and almost as much as a 1SS.
