Drove it after à BMW 135i (N54), so 2 very different cars.- 997 is naturally aspirated vs the bimmer twin turbos. Seems underwhelming until you realize it needs to be driven at 3000+ rpm- Steering and braking is very firm, much more so than on the bimmer- Both are fast (of course); The 997S *feels* slower but really isn't (turbo effect)- The frame and the brakes on the 997 are incredible. You know it's made to go tracks- On the 997 you need to wait for the oil temp. to reach 90° before speeding a bit- 997 really needs to be driven fast : when I experience some traffic jam, the engine fan starts up. Once you go faster it stops. Yeah, the engine is in the wrong place.- I daily it on winding roads, it's a blast. The car seems welded to the road.I know, I'm "gapped by pajeets in the new plastic BWs" but I don't care.
Guards Red is best color.
