About what?

What are the extra wheels for anyway?
Is it just a technicality thing? Like once a truck weighs over a certain amount it requires 3 rear axles on the ground? Even though it literally isn't doing anything or supporting any of the load? But now big law is happy :^)
>>
>>28628376
for the pushers in the middle yes, but that drop down bridge axel makes a very big difference in handling and is hydraulic. If the truck is unloaded you can pressurize it and change a drive tire without a jack.

Feel like a bitumen sprayer is way harder to drive than that. Gotta manipulate your sprayer arms and maneuver yourself around to spray curves and intersections.

Yeah nah. The most skilled truck drivers are definitely log truck drivers. They're taking 100k+ lb loads down your "Jeep trails" that apparently can't fit a half ton.

The middle wheels can be lowered so they become load bearing, for when the mixer is full of cement. Helps with ground pressure over gravel or dirt.

why do they cut trees in the middle of the forest and then go through such lengths to carry them through the forest when they can just cut trees at the edge of the forest and carry them through empty field that used to be forest
>>
>>28629223
Because you can only cut trees on land you own.

Ground pressure. If too much force is concentrated in too little area, it will sink in the ground or break the road.

>they drive in straight line down a road that they have to drive down
yeah nah, they would need a month of training to be affective at delivering concrete
>>
>>28628832
about half of our new drivers hauled trailers, the all say that concrete truck is way more difficult. You get a feel for it, but it sure ain't steering wheel holding like you're used to. Plus you're required to be knowledgable about the product and how to deliver it under XYZ conditions. And we make more money and go home every day even with the weird hours. Basically you're gay and going to have to expell pajeets if you want your job back.
>>
>>28629188
blame the jew government and companies for that, we could easily pull it up an incline wound the fuck out but they gut our engines. Also if you notice when a mixer is doing this the drum is spinning super fast, it's because the rotation of the drum is tied to the PTO and if you're going far away you're probably leaving very very wet which will spill on an incline

There's this great movie about log truck driving.
