>bro get a Japanese car they're relia-
>>
since when are nigsans not reliable?
>>
>>28633613
The internet will never recover from people thrashing their base model Altimas, then complaining that the CVT transmission couldn't handle track use.
It was fixed almost 20 years ago, was only a problem for like 2 years, and only affected the literal cheapest cars on offer and yet people still complain about Nissan's reliability for that one issue
>>
>>28633609
I’ve personally seen vehicles from both of these brands last as long as Toyotas and Hondas if they are owned and properly maintained by middle-class whites
>>
>>28633625
npcs dont know how to think for themselves
even so-called "mechanics" are quick to label an entire brand as "unreliable" because of some 20 year old issue affecting certain transmissions on certain models
it's just npc's receiving their programming and not bothering to update it
>>
>>28633628
I've also seen this same cope said about every other car.
>>
>>28633609
The CVT is the only thing unreliable from nigsan. The automatics and manuals are bullet proof, and the engines are also good
>>
Nissan makes great engines.
CVTs aren't great, but actually fine if you're not the sort of monkey who goes full throttle from stop light to stop light and never even thinks about maintenance.
>>

2005-2020ish

better than faggot USA or Yurocuck cars. Have me twisted thinking I'll go for those scam cars. Atleast those Nips make a worthwhile product- that's why even Zoomers know their value.
>>
>>28633800
You weren't kidding that is ugly. I got no hate for Nissan just it's drivers
>>
>>28633609
lol if anything japaneese made fails in your possession it just means that you are NOT white or japaneese (honorary aryans) good luck my dark life form friend, you will need it as you have a lifetime of suffering ahead of you
>>
>>28633609
I think most cars post 2013 are too complicated to be considered reliable
>>

you should buy a 3000GT and make a documentary on the ownership for us.

Didn't the Nissan Leaf v1.0 hold up really well besides degrading battery?

Nissans are probably more reliable than Toyotas from ~2015.

>Nissans didn't have CVTs 20 years ago
They did, we’re just old and forget that 20 years ago isn’t the 90’s anymore. Murano came out in 2003 (which is 22 years ago) and that had a CVT
>>
>>28633865
I own one for over a decade as a daily (vr4) and it's yet to let me down.

Basic maintence and getting a head of issues = fun ownership of a legendary car
>>
>>28633625
it's the same tards who call out muh head gaskets whenever subaru is brought up
>>
>>28633609
I noticed the conspicuous lack of Toyota representation
>turn right

lmaooooooo
Apparently the issue still hasn't been addressed even though the car's been out for 5 years now
>>
My teenage car, a black 2009 lancer, lasted 10 years and 140k miles before I sold it. Nothing but oil changes. Total teenage neglect and abuse, still chugged along no matter what and never failed me.
>>
I hate to be That Guy but I have an 18 Outlander Sport with over 320k miles (did Uber full time for five years), the only problem it's ever had was the AC taking a shit after I got hit by a drunk driver, totalling the car.
Hell, I'm still on the factory clutch. 5 speed all the way, kids.
When it comes to reliability, the Mitsu is top flight.
>>
>>28633625

Was it worth it? I deliver food occasionally and it's an ok side thing
>>
>>28635566
It WAS great for that year after the coof ended. I made so much ridiculous money that year, year and a half.
Then all the other bozos came back on the road after their gibs ran out and I went from making almost 100k working four nights a week to barely more than minimum wage.

To the point where it's better to just be a W2 wagie again.

Not to mention, 65k+ a year mileage. Put more than the car cost me into gas and maintenance. Hit-and-runned by drunks three times, one of which totalled it.

Still driving the same car though. It was the first and last time I'll ever buy new.

Altima, Maxima, Cube, Versa, and March had CVT’s in the mid 2000’s which is 20 years ago you old fart.

Say what you will but the Frontier is based and is the perfect midsize truck. Very reliable too.
>>
>>28634621
The Japanese domestic market had CVT's in the 90's. marches Have had a CVT option off and on since 1992. Even on their bigger sedans (Y34 Turbo V6 Gorias) had CVT as the only option by the end of the 90's.

My 2009 FWD Murano has 140k miles and CVT runs fine with CVT fluid drain and fills every 30k miles. Although it seems the alternator is on its last legs.
>>
My 21 year old 4wd Mitsubishi is still a good and very reliable car. Aside from some minor parts costs, it's been very cheap to maintain as well.

Salty winter roads around here will eventually kill it with rust, but so far I've kept the metal cancer at bay with non-oem steel body parts (cheap) and a borrowed mig welder.

The car will see 25 years of use, no doubt.
