My teenage car, a black 2009 lancer, lasted 10 years and 140k miles before I sold it. Nothing but oil changes. Total teenage neglect and abuse, still chugged along no matter what and never failed me.
I hate to be That Guy but I have an 18 Outlander Sport with over 320k miles (did Uber full time for five years), the only problem it's ever had was the AC taking a shit after I got hit by a drunk driver, totalling the car. Hell, I'm still on the factory clutch. 5 speed all the way, kids.When it comes to reliability, the Mitsu is top flight.

My 21 year old 4wd Mitsubishi is still a good and very reliable car. Aside from some minor parts costs, it's been very cheap to maintain as well.Salty winter roads around here will eventually kill it with rust, but so far I've kept the metal cancer at bay with non-oem steel body parts (cheap) and a borrowed mig welder.The car will see 25 years of use, no doubt.
