What the FUCK is this?
>>28636788Some English billionaires idea of a new Defender, built in France, with a BMW engine.Apparently they're not bad.
the pickup version is cooler
>>28636788Apparently it's made by a chemical company. Very Mitsubishi-esque.
>>28636788A $100k soccer mom car except it has no amenities and features interesting new build techniques such as screw holes with no screws in them
>>28636788It’s got a B58 so it’s already good
>>28636788The new Land Rover
In my neighborhood there is; a Defender 90, nuDefender 110 and a Grenadier.
>>28636788Another larpmobile
>>28636837It's not being marketed as a road car
>>28636883All pavement queens I suppose?
>>28636799That looks like balls.
>>28636910I live in the city
>>28636919I'll try to rephrase it. Did you see any indication of those vehicles being used for their intended purpose (offroading)? Like dirt (unusual for the city), minor cosmetic damage and specific wear patterns? Recovering equipment (again, with signs of use)?
>>28636950No.
>>28636950I never see these things out in the back country and mountain ranges, miles from the nearest dirt road.not that I’m ever in those places but still
Are they selling well?
>>28637004In their niche, sure.
>>28636788New Land Rover copy but good. I’ll def try for one if I get up in funds.
>>28636950>Recovering equipmentExistence of offroady junk is the best available indicator of pavement queenalso oversized tires with nu-male tread pattern (AT, RT, MT) on pristine black forged alloy wheels with lots of fasteners (ive read about debeading while running low pressures BRO!)
>>28636788PURE SOUL in vehicle form. Only the G wagon, Ranger Raptor, and Raptor R (F150) can match it.
>>28636899It has a twin scroll cinnamon roll, I’ll let it slide.
>>28637086Can't you read?>with signs of use
>>28637111>I’ll let it slideDown the hill most probably, it's too heavy for anything else.
If you get filtered by this youre ngmi
>>28637116crusty ass layer of mud from 3 months ago counts as "signs of use"
>>28637089>t.busrider
>>28637144I drive the chariot of the gods, aka a 1st gen RAPTOR in SCAB configuration.
>>28637127Not if the paint/coating under it is new and there is little wear.We both know what I meant by my question. Please go be mad at mallcrawlers somewhere else.
>>28637148You drive dick with your ass.
>>28637121That means it should have traction off toad. Not sure though and not for me
>MOOOOM I WANNA LAND ROVER DEFENDER!!>Don't worry son we have a Defender at home
>>28637433?
>>28637462kek
>>28636831>>28636896>>28636915>>28637433Fuck off retard this car is awesome
Grenadier. Good off-roader but insanely expensive (> 100 k€)
>>28638496They're only $70k should be 50k in euro$. At a 1.3/1 rate.
>>28638489"Is awesome" is not the same as "looks awesome to a neveroffroaded", sorry.
>>28637171and you suck dry that same dick with your mouth afterwards just to try to get a taste of his raptor's seats
>>28638545Whats wrong with its offroading capabilities?
>>28638504euro tax + tip. Gotta fund the support for all the fighting-age syrians men and other middle age browns """refugees""" somehow.
>>28636788>>28636799Where manual?

>>28637004Had to hold production for a couple of months because they got screwed over by the recaro bankruptcy, but there’s a line of people for every truck they build
He might be a slimy, inbred, Brexiteer bonger but you gotta admire Jim Ratcliffe's business autism Your favorite footy team going through a slump? Buy it and bring in all the best player & coaching talent money can buy.Annoyed because you're a Land Rover fanboy and it got Jeet'd? Make your own, with blackjack and hookers. Can't find a satisfactory antiseptic during the Chink Flu? Tell your massive chemical company to build an in-house brand.Start going on motorbike treks as part of your midlife crisis? Buy one of the most prestigious motorcycle safety gear manufacturers in UK.
>>28638489The proportions on the pickup version are fucked.
>>28638577Retarded design decisions mostly. They wanted to appeal to LR fanboys but things that got carried over from the OG Defender weren't the best from the utility standpoint and some got lost along the way because JLR said no we will sue you. Also the choice of the powertrain is questionable, and you generally can buy a better vehicle for less money even if you for some reason want two solid axles.
has a lot of dials, switches for controls. Still has a gay touch screen though.
>>28639601touch screen and dials are a great combo>inb4 noyes
>>28636788It's kino.
>>28638489It's pretty cool but I won't call it awesome
How do I get one of these as a broke 21 year old
>>28636788No one knows.Just a conservative brit with no empire larping
>>28638719>Also the choice of the powertrain is questionableArguably one of the best out there. Id absolutely LOVE this thing with a 2.3L egoboost though. >>28642027>Just a conservative britHoly based!
>>28642122>Arguably one of the best out there. For a road car in Eurocuckistan maybe.
>>28642134sharts don't make anything close to a B57
>>28641545Get a Defender or Win about 500,000. I'm not a fan of the sticky our hangers but they run ok.
The price is the best thing about it desu. When I was a young pilot I got a job flying tours over Vic Falls which I turned into a few successive seasons crop spraying and flying people in and out of safari dirt strips in Zimbabwe and later Kenya. So I bought an old coke can Land Rover and it was genuinely just fine. Significantly more rattle than my beat up 90’s Ranger back in the USA. At this point the mania in the US over aluminum Land Rover had started to take hold and the old Rhodesians and Happy Valley set were bewildered why these in their minds worthless old farm trucks could go for tens of thousands in the USA once they reached 25 years old. I tried to explain the SOVL component but they just didn’t get it.One of these old fucks in Kenya who I flew around in his Gazelle for damn near a year piled up quite a few old defenders to send back to the USA but he croaked before he could do it. Not that he needed the money. They all die young, it’s hard living especially in Kenya. I met Thomas Cholmondeley before he croaked and he is every bit the legend people say.Anyways yeah you can pick up these Grenadiers for less than a “mint” 25 year old coke can from Namibia. It’s not even a conversation. Do you like having cruise control? Do you like having the steering wheel on the correct side? The glamor of LR’s wears off fast when you have to live with them. Trust me I drove one from Blantyre to Nakuru and it was not entirely an enjoyable experience. I’d take the Grenadier.
>>28636788An attempt at making a respectable Humvee.I'll let you decide whether or not it fits the bill.
