>Tesla warranty: 8 years
>1990s Toyota warranty: 5 years
Does this mean Teslas are more reliable and longer lasting than 90s Toyotas?
>>
A Tesla bait thread and Toyota bait thread? I just won bing/o/!

Warranty is in DISTANCE ya doofus
And Tesla is only 50k miles. Which is enough to get 2 suspension overhauls and fixing that factory line headlight adjustment.
Similarly a lot of Chinesium will offer insane warranty.... on the battery, and not the drivetrain or the suspension.

He's talking about power train doofus. If you want to talk basic coverage then Tesla is only 4/50000 but Toyota is only 3/36000 lmao
>>

new tesla batteries are rated for well over 300k miles anyways, all the money sink is in the suspension that has to haul its fat ass around

Yes
But what parts they offer more warranty on, offers a insight in what the OEM thinks is durable.
Chang offering up 250k miles on the battery is interesting

If you are incapable of reaching the full warranty in X years, you are basically a no car grandpa, just living in a car centric society anon

Warranty also remains interesting, because it places a point where its very likely a risk averse owner might splurge to get a 2nd car.
I'd still expect the Tesla to do 2 suspension overhauls in Warranty, and then about the interval continuing. While I also don't except the Toyota to need anything remotely similar.

No. In fact, Tesla is below average in terms of reliability. Stop shilling your faggot machine.

Teslas don't have a broad service/repair network and they're so backlogged that it takes forever to actually get parts and fix problems

It doesn't matter how much you drive. If you drive a lot, then you still get an extra 14k miles of warranty.
>>

Yes and?
You will still do the suspension overhaul at 25k, 50k, 75k, etc. Having it within warranty means its cheaper to do, and you might have to replace all the war parts as well

Additionally:
But its very different to have a vehicle that is going to drive 3-5 times as long before doing what Tesla would be doing in their warranty period, due the platform being more durable.
