Here is my genius idea: An auto parts store that also has a shop on site. When the customer gets to the register, the parts clerk (secretly a service advisor) attempts to convince them it's too big of a job to DIY, and to leave their car for service instead.>you've never changed an O2 sensor before? Do you have the special socket? If you can leave your car until tomorrow we can get it changed out for $200.Additionally, the shop will have way more parts on site than usual. No more waiting for parts to be delivered.
>>28642905Isn’t that just the dealership store
>>28642905that's what pep boys used to be before the retard that bought them closed down all the retail halves of the stores
>>28642905What if instead we had...A million dollar Ikea....
>>28642931>pep boysWish we could turn back time
>>28642905I feel like people would get tired of being sold service pretty quick
>>28642905Literally Canadian Tire but I forget that not everyone knows what it is
>>28642905As others have stated pepbiys had this model before but now they only do service. Kinda interesting.
ouu that's such a profitable idea can i be your insurer?!?!?!
>>28642905> Here is my genius idea:>a mechanic with negative margin
>>28642905a car wash with one diy mechanics bay with a lift would be a good start. charge by minute via cardlock.different than your idea but better nonetheless
>>28643403Junkies would use it to shoot up and end up being crushed to death after nodding out
>>28643403You are now aware that if Radio 4 goes away the nukes will start flying. That ginger american will be first on the list.
A parts store with attached rentable hoist space would actually work.
they do this in australia and judging by the way the stores are going its not a million dollar idea
