Where do you get used rims anymore? Ebay is all drop sellers, can't find a set of used. Forums are dead. C/L is awful and I'm near a major city. I'm just looking for some 5x100 16" rims for winter beaters. I don't have FB, is it worth a burner for market place? I guess it's the 40 year old in me but I used to always see people give away steelies (amazon wants like 80+ per) or OEM rims for a case of beer. Picture unrelated but classy.
I bought a car with a bent wheel that lost 15 psi in a week.Got a replacement one on ebay last summer for $140 and it was only offered on a rare trim for 2 years. That's still how you do it, or forum classifieds for rare or unique vehicles.I refuse to let bookface even have cookies on a device I use, out of principle. You could buy a Raspberry Pi or similar and (with a fresh install, not on a network you use since IP addresses are for the modem, not individual devices) create a burner email then logon to facebook with that. But I question whether it's worth it, you aren't that likely to just stumble across a rare part on fb anyway unless you live somewhere huge like socal or chicago.
>>28643327It seems like crazy work to buy a burner pi and set that up for a fake FB to buy a set of used rims cheap. If anyone wants to help.. or know, Philly area, 16" OG WRX rims are what I'm hunting most, but anything will work. I know lots have changed, but I see cheap ass parts sold otherwise, what's different with rims?
If youre lookingnfornstock rims you can always try the junk yard. The junkyard is a magical place.
>>28643447We only have one pick and pull left they are a dying time. It's sad. Actually I got my fogs from one for 20 bucks in perfect shape.
>>28643492True. All of the ones near me dont let you do it yourself.
