I don't mind hard surfaces if they're there because the car's meant to be a bit rugged.But I swear some cars' cheaper specs intentionally use the most awful, cheap plastic they could find, just to make the higher spec seem more luxurious and exclusive.>difference in material costs: $50>difference in purchase price: $5000 (need to bump the trim level twice to even select better interior)Fuck, even some Audis come with scratchy plastic everywhere unless you pay extra.Except the plastic creaks 3 times as much as some cheaper car's because of all the little overdesigned trim pieces expanding a bit differently with temperature, or something.
