Then it breaks, then the repair costs $43,000. Nobody buying a $150k car can get excited over predictable and regular repairs greater than $10,000. They're fast, but there are other just-as-fast cars that don't need such repairs. They're also ugly.

Did I stop caring about super/hypercars because I grew up or because they actually became lame? Is it both?I think it started with Pagani and Lamborghini when they realized they can slap a bodykit on their existing car, call it limited production special, mark it up 2x or even 5x and someone will still show up and buy it.
