It could only be the P71 Crown Victoria. LAPD still have some in service, Lots of other police/sheriff's offices still have them kicking around, too.
They stopped being manufactured 14 years ago. I get that cars don't rust out in CA (or the south) but that's still a long-ass time of hard use for a car.

These things are so horrible on gas that my old man replaced it with an eTransit for his business. It's about $150 worth of electricity compared to $1000/month of gasoline. The electric van paid itself off just from gas savings alone.
