What vehicle on the market now is spiritually and functionally closest to a Telo MT1 as a work truck/van?

Not mostly interested in the electric aspect (although having an electrical hookup would be nice and dream drivetrain would be a diesel hybrid but no one does that) but:

- maximum capability, minimum size. "Tacoma in the footprint of a Mini Cooper."
- concomitant great handling in tight spaces and highly dense urban driving
- also capable off-road, although it doesn't have to be a rock crawler by any means
- strong tow capacity

Why would you need AWD in a work van? Ford Maverick has AWD as an option. 4k tow package gives it 4500lbs of towing and like 1500lbs of payload.
