It basically started when they were thinking about making the 1 series a fwd 4-pot crapbox, since they noticed none of their common buyers care about the inline6 or being rwd.And don't forget, any lost wanderer that ends up on /o/, confused about the state of the industry, is completely outnumbered by the sorts of people happy to buy all the appliance slop each company makes. And then most chodes suggest buying used to save money instead of buying some of the few cars that are interesting driver vehicles.

To clarify, I decided to give up motorcycling and I always said I'd get a nice car if I didn't have a bike, but I'm realizing that I haven't had years to carve out my own niche in the car market. I don't know what's good and what I like. I have a four-cylinder Camry that I was only able to tolerate because I only drove it when I couldn't ride. Fun cars are fucking expensive.
