How do you feel about the last car you purchased?
>>28651246Love it desu
>>28651246I love it and intend to be its last ownerIt will always have a home in my shitbox fleet
>>28651246Great, especially after the huge discount I managed to get out of the dealer
Happy, but planning to get a less prolific daily. A sleeper if you would.
>>28651246I wish the previous owner hadn't filled a few rust holes with filler and painted over them...Apart from that, the engine is solid and it's reliable, so I can't really complain too much. I had the rot repaired by a friend who is handy with a welder.
>>28651246Despite the fact that itis 50 years old and currently sitting in the garage with a busted mechanical fuel pump with the part en-route I'm still happier about that purchase than I am riding passenger for free in modern shitboxes :^)I especially like how the interior isn't in shambles (80k miles) unlike every car with 50k on it nowadays
>>28651246It's been pretty solid, and I feel less bad about over paying given the three years of dependable service with only minor service needs due to the original parts being closed to 30yr old.i have the least auto maintainance of anyone I know, even with drastically newer still in warranty cars.
I love everything about it and would have to think hard even if someone offered to double what I paid for it
>>28651246Turned out way better than expected.
>>28651246the newest version of my last purchase costs $130k, yet i paid a mere fraction of this because i'm smart.i can't stop winning in life tbqh. (6'2", 7", Caucasian, handsome, self employed, mortgages paid off, landlord, horny af gf, procreated)
>>28651246It's awesome. Audis keep trying to race me though
>>28651246Love itits such a goober car
>>28651246Pretty good. Some retard rear-ended me at a light a couple of months ago, my car only minor damage while his was totaled. Also, the dealership bent over backwards to make sure everything gets fixed ASAP and my insurance premiums don't go up.
>>28651246New CTR. It's very whatever. I don't feel any worse when I get back into a 2008 Si. > Pigfat> Guzzles gas even when driven "reasonably"> Fake noises (but the turbo whoosh when getting off throttle or shifting at edge is fine)> Afraid people will scratch it but literally no one except teenagers in GTIs and SIs know what it is> acceleration is ok> want a smaller car> would rather have a Supra or, dare I say, 718>>28651267> RWD> can't pull on me> no diff if you got the bargain bin version> dat interiorI walked into a dealership and asked for 5k off of MSRP on the Z, they said no at the time>>28651373I might have to join you cucks. It's so fucking pretentious though, holy shit. And you need to make like 400k.
>>28651457Oh, and credit where credit's due - it really does go hard on curvy roads, even if Mustang GTs pull on it on the straight
>>28651457>RWDmore fun>can't pull0.5 second faster 0-60, a full second faster if you put PS4S on the Z like the CTR has>no diff on base modelHuge blunder on Nissan's part, I have no idea why they did that. Fortunately I didn't get a base model>interiorHonestly very nice, especially since it doesn't suffer from "tablet sticking out of dash" syndrome like the CTR and 90 percent of cars from the past 5 years
>>28651246I overpaid and bought the wife what she wanted. Never again
>>28651246Glad I bought it. These are getting rare and hard to find. While mine is pretty crusty most are even more crustier and in much worse condition.
>>28651246Way better than my first hand-me-down car.
>>28651685>These are getting rare and hard to findWelcome to my world.I wasn't looking for another truck.Didn't need another truck. But a '68 F100 with a big block that runs and drives for $1400?!I obviously had no choice but to buy it.
>>28651694why are your photography skills so profoundly terrible
>>28651694That is some serious rust, my doge. Also your photography skills suck.
>>28651246It's been five years and I still love it.
>>28651246It was like a 2009 Ford I forget what sedanI parked it in front of a Marine's house at the original Chipotle (legal free street parking) and when I got back with my burritos, <5 minutes, he'd peeled back all the windows and sprayed the interior with pissI assume his pissI then confronted him outside his Prius and he fumbled with his keys and drove offI guess technically I also bought one of the last year PT Cruisers, that was a surprisingly nice ride when it worked, which was neverI sold both of them for a whopping $350, still driving my 20-year old adorable-ass bulletproof shitboxWe also got a new Subaru Outback a couple of years ago and I never fucking drive it, it's just got blindspots for miles and is completely soullessPlus they're fucking huge now and they don't have a lick more interior spacce
>>28651246I bought an 11th gen si this year and then bought a 93 sc300. I love them both. the si is more fun at the moment I would say. the sc300 is completely stock and feels slow from a stop and handles like a row boat. the si does what I want.
>>28651246I’m nervous because Audis can be time bombs, but I hope I can make it last because it’s a car that I would want forever. I’ve changed the oil and brake fluid already and I’m going to attempt the spark plugs this weekend or next for the first time
>>286512462018. I fucking love it still.
>>28651246Honder jazz, just lovely car.
Happy. It's a clapped out XJ that I bought for $2k on eBay and drove a couple hundred miles home sight-unseen. It's been an excellent addition to the shit fleet and I'm close to what I paid for it in repairs and improvements. I need to figure out how to weld so I can replace the rocker panels and a few other rot spots and then it'll be good.
>>28651246I bought a used golf. Simultaneously the best and the worst purchase I've ever made.
>>28651704>>28651763Moisture gets trapped in the camera lens cover on my phone case.Rust is minimal. Truck is solid. What you see is patina after 60 years.
>>28652335>patina after 60 yearsyeah, after 60 years of not moving from that one spot on your lawn. the sheer amount of grass clippings built up on the wheel gives it awaygod boomers are insufferable
>>28651246Not bad. Needs a lil maintenance, but for $450 and only 39k miles, it's even more loaded than I thought and I can't complain. Now to get her cleaned up.>>28651307I complimented you on your old Civic last thread, what is that 80s/ early 90s econobox behind the Gloria? You have great taste.
>>28652445It's a 190e behind the Cedric. It's not mine, just a friend's.
>>28652358I just bought the truck.Im in the south where it actually rains and we have to mow weekly. I just didn't feel like moving that truck because I have 4 acres of lawn.Dumbfuck.
>>28651670Overall, I don't know which one I would rather have. With the CTR, there is the depreciation / cheap maintenance cope.I really do like the interior MUCH better and think the 370z interior like shit too, and Z doesn't depart far from that.I also don't like turbos, full stop, sucks on the CTR, probably sucks (hue hue) on the Z.> 0.5 second faster 0-60, a full second faster if you put PS4S on the Z like the CTR hasAbsolutely true, but to me it's just nowhere near enough for RWD + what 85 more hp? I forget how much I have, 315?> more funAnd yea, I will give you that.I also looked at the Mach 1 at the same time, but it was too Mach 1 for me. Would have taken the Z over that, despite the glorious NA V8.
