Is it worth getting comprehensive insurance on your shitbox in the youkay when it costs almost the value of the vehicle per year? How much is just getting third party (presumably it is just included with your registration?). I wouldn't bother, if you write off your fucking gaygoo just buy a new one, you aren't writing off your car yearly are you?

You want to get a car that's about 3-4k.
Moderately new, has sensors and driver assistance packages.

Super cheap stuff, they know you're buying it because you're worried about crashing it and so are they.

Ignore this poof. Unless you need masses of reliable miles go for something old and cheap and not very big, Cheaper insurance.

I just saw a great y-reg (2001) VW diesel golf on UK ebay. Tatty inside but will run for ever. You don't need all the stupid lane assist crap of ultra-moderns and that will still have airbags and ABS. That was £500 and there is a lot in that range to £1500 that are perfectly good cars that when they fuck up you can bin without worrying. DESU that VW diesel would make a good classic car if it has lasted 25 years already.
