redpill me on the E34
>>28653632looks great, but no coupe variant so it's not as cool as the e30, e36, e24, e31you will be paying like $5k+ unironically whenever anything goes wrong with it, which will be often because it's 29-38 years old now, unless it had an unironic rotisserie restoration, which then gets to the fact that getting one in the condition that's actually worth owning will be expensive
>>28653632all are rusted to shitwagons are kinoget a 6cyl petrol>>28653649>like $5k+ unironically whenever anything goes wrong with itdumb fucking wrenchlet
>>28653926i wasn't talking about labor. it's a 30 year old luxury german car and a lot of random parts are long out of production. This is why you need to get one that is practically museum quality. You can't find the parts anymore if you buy one with a lot of worn out or broken parts.
>>28653941you really are a wrenchletyou can buy a suspension arm for 50 euros right nowgive me a part right now that is a wear item and cant be found
>>28653949off the top of my head? a lot of interior parts. im pretty sure the drivetrain stuff is still available though.
>>28653941>>28653949and here have thishttps://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/partgrp?id=HJ63-USA-03-1994-E34-BMW-525i
>>28653954most of the interior parts arent actually wear items though, unless you fuck with them they will last forever
>>28653959lol
>>28653959https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=BG93-USA-05-1999-E36-BMW-M3&diagId=52_0544literally none of this is produced anymore
>>28653632it will break stuff, it's becoming a dick magnet since they're not so many around anymore but if you can deal with these 2 you'll have a great balanced sedan.
>>2865396499% of BMWs built before 2000 will have a bunch of broken shit that is NLA
>>28653632It's a fine vehicle, but also 30+ years old, so you'll have to deal with old car problems. BMW's have a tall learning curve (like the left hand threaded 32mm fan clutch nut and use of inverted torx bolts, which spoiler alert: are SAE-sized, if you don't have a complete set of inverted torx tools), but once you learn it, you're learned it. They're pretty easy to work on after you get over the hump. BMW M-series are a fine family of inline sixes. (in this case M50) Good and reliable for daily driving duty.>>28653941>luxuryIs it REALLY a luxury car or is is just a car? I could ask the same question about Mercedes-Benz. The higher-up stuff, sure I could see that being luxurious, but this is more an everyman's practical family transportation sort of thing. 7-series, sure; 3- or 5-series not so much. >>28653926>all are rusted to shitDepends on region it's been living in as to whether or not its rusted to shit. >>28655491>dick magnetWut?
>>28653632plastic eurotrash with the added downside of also being ancient, so everything plastic will break and none of it will be replaceable except with more ancient used parts t. owns a plastic shitheap that's slightly older
>>28656197>Wut?Old cars repel pussy and attract dick (ie: old men reliving their youth), it's that simple.
>>28653632ancient shitbox built to rental specifications
