I have never owned a car newer than 2005
>>
>>28656240
its because your’re poor
>>
>>28656240
Pretty much the only car that isn't riced out with a plastic engine past 2005 is the c6 so you're not missing out.
>>
>>28656242
>just drive a rental bro
Nah I'm good, good luck with the sale
>>
>>28656247
>poorfag can only think of selling everything
Good luck with life
>>
>>28656240
Neither do I. It's bliss.
>>
>>28656254
>just keep the rental
kek, stupid ass wrenchlet
>>
>>28656240

>>
>>28656240
I've never owned a car newer than 1997, feels good bros.
>>
>>28656254
>middleclass fag only thinks in terms of dollar value
Yes keep purchasing overpriced goods goyim. The quality is always increasing and your neighbors are so impressed
>>
>>28656242
So your idea of wealth is paying more money for a shittier, worse built, planned obscelecense shitbox that tracks your every move?

Lol. Lmao.
>>28656304
You'll never own a home or 911 like me. Better just kill yourself now.
>>
>>28656446
I do own a home, and I don't particularly want a 911. Whatever man, try to squeeze some joy out of your materialistic life
>>
Same anon.

I've also never needed a car to get to work tho, so I don't need to worry about reliability or anything with my car. It's purely for enjoyment.
>>
>>28656509
Based anon. Not needing a car and driving one anyways makes you more enthusiast than 99% of the fags on here
>>
My newest vehicle is a 2013.

I actually can afford something new, but I don't plan on doing that until I wear my current one out to the point of it being BER. That's proving to be very difficult to do, as it's a Toyota Tacoma. Thing's probably gonna outlive me.
>>
>>28656325
sour grapes
>>
When my current car was manufactured, the world trade center still existed

>>
>>28656643

the cheapest feeling shitbox ive ever been in was a 2024 Ram
>>
>>28656502
It's not about materialism, it's about knowing I'm better than other people and reminding them of that fact.
>>
>>28657110
Porsche owners and a misplaced sense of superiority go together like niggers and crime
>>
>>28656242
owning old cars is actually the flex, it means you can afford to maintain them and are in a position where you're not ruined if one breaks down. brokies are the ones who have to get a new car because they'll be fired if they're late to work one day when their car doesn't start or they'll miss a mortgage payment if they get a mechanic's bill
>>
>>28657367
Literally no one else:
Americans: NIGGERS NIGGERS NIGGERS
>>
Love my faggot shitbox if that thing dies maybe I go with it eh
>>
>>28657380
Depends on the year.
>2000-2019 = broke fuck
>pre-2000 = baller
>>
2007 hilux. Newest automobile, fucked radio unfortunately
>>
>>28656240
Same. I got my first ABS equipped vehicle last year.
>>
>>28657552
When do we readjust the cutoff or is this set in stone

What if I am wealthy, handsome, etc. but I genuinely don't like the nu-car shit, there are some I like, but for luxury cars, I actually prefer the 2000s, classiest era of Mercedes and other brands, a lot of cars still had a lot of chrome and it looked good (love my LS430), interiors were more simple but high quality
If you're trying to sell me on nu-shit, sell me, I don't want a bent ipad pro in my dash
>>
>>28657590
You will buy the car full of ipads or you are ugly and poor
>>
>>28657590
>What if I am wealthy, handsome, etc.
You aren't

>but I genuinely don't like the nu-car shit, there are some I like, but for luxury cars, I actually prefer the 2000s
Then buy one of those retard, who the fuck is stopping you?
>>
>>28656240
I have never owned a car
>>
>>28657609
Neither has anyone else on /o/, so that's fine.
>>
>>28656513
Needing a car for daily life is such a suburb faux rich lifestyle lmao
>>
>>28657589
That’s the adjusted cutoff. It used to be like before 1985 was cool and after was just broke.
>>
>>28657626

>You aren't
You don't know me, faggot
>>
>>28657626
Ah the true wealthy ride the metro with mentally unstable negros who are playing the knock out game with anyone a shade lighter than them
>>
The amount of people larping as rich snobs on 4chan is too damn high
>>
>>28657367
Sounds about right.
>>
>>28657853
If you were you wouldn't care enough to reply to me
>>
>>28657589
The cutoff doesn't change because almost everything made after 2000 fucking sucks.
>>
>>28657380
>owning old cars is actually the flex, it means you can afford to maintain them
if you're talking about a ‘57 tbird sure. but OP’s ‘04 pt cruiser is flexing on nobody.
>>
>>28657110
>not about materialism
>describes their feelings of material superiority
