Bros I like this Si a lot but the interior rattles/squeaks are driving me insane. My 97 Civic doesn’t make noise anything like the 26. Wtf Honda.
>>28657528Time to trade for a based Honda Accord that's been tested on their squeak and rattle track
>>28657537No manual accords anymore sadly. I’m just going to bitch at the dealer until it’s rectified
>>28657539Based, don't feel like an asshole for complaining about a car Honda itself sold with a 60,000 mile warranty or whatever for a lot of money, if I went through the process of buying a car brand new, it better start up and be quiet.
>>28657447>13 sets of front brake pads.>no mention of rear brake pads.Umm- thats not how its suppose to work....
>>28657772In his defense old base model Hondas can wear out their drums, and people just never even bother replacing because automatics have park, and most of the braking happens in the front.
rip ef sedanhttps://xcancel.com/washghost1/status/1975296155971199096
>>28657772>>28657794Rear brakes also last a LONG time. Not a million miles, but old accords like that could easily go 200,000 miles at like, 75% rear braking capacity, which isn’t really worth changing unless you’re tracking it.
Mini cooper 5-spoke 4x100 rims fit well on 4x100 hondas, for whoever wanted to throw wacky mid-00s rims on their econobox.
>>28657447The CB7 is the best looking sedan Honda made.
Did some conefagging in the Prelude yesterday. feels good man.
>>28659247But what about this lil guy
>finish fixing every issue on my honda rebel>Notice my civics clear coat is bubbling up.This needs a wash and oil change and cvt fluid change and for me to fix the cap on the rad still. Anyone done a cheap maacco paint job before, can you specifically ask for certain areas to get cleaned up clearcoat and paint?
>>28659270If you're going to go Maaco, be sure to get the two stage, base coat with a clear coat laid on top of it in the style of a factory paint job, you could probably spent less than $1000 on a single stage job as opposed to $3000, but it will look like a single stage paint job, even if there's imperfections, the two stage Maaco job can actually be kinda beautiful when a fancy place can charge upwards of $7000+ for a factory style paint job with all the disassembly required.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INkf-TWCkIU
>>28659279I was planning to do it if it was around 1200 to do the hood, trunk roof and main body. The doors and bumpers are fine.
>>28659328I would get a quote just for those panels, maybe it will be within the budget to make it look a little nicer, sun facing panels of Civics just cook off like nothing and it makes an otherwise nice car look shitboxy
>>28659254Damnit I forgot about the R. Good contender
>>286592475th gen is the best
>>28659332I do wonder though. I wanted to see if I could hold out till the prelude drops. If the prelude is barely 38k or under I could afford it but my current civic is only 70k miles and the paint and interior are really really bad shape. I have holes in the carped, driver seat ripped, original owner put out cigs on the pannels and the car has smoke grime everywhere. The exterior has a lot of large paint chips to the metal and dents. This is a 2016 coupe, but it is the lx cvt.Would It make more sense to just wait till the prelude price drops, look at them used maybe or keep the civic and spend 3k repainting it?
Heh my clean as fuck 2015 Crosstour exl impressed my friends boyfriend yesterday. I drove them to a concert and he was like "man what year us this when did you get it?" it's wild what a little cleaning and some leather can do to impress. Also it's so cozy
>>28662261Based crosstour, I always tell people that no matter what the fuck your car is, if it has leather and a sunroof, normies will think it's a luxury car, guys think they need to spend $80,000 to get panties, but really a used Lincoln MKZ or decked out EX-L Honda/Acura is enough to wow people.
Mustang tribars are the Super Advans we have at home
Just over 26MPG on ~350 mile trip with the cruise set at 90. Sometimes I forget you put this thing in comfort mode and it's such a nice highway cruiser. Sometimes it's too bad it only has a 12 gallon tank.
>>28663489That's impressive as hell for a Type R with not low rolling resistance tires, my slow ass CM that's built to save fuel drops to about 26 mpg when you're cruising at 90 because it takes so much foot to make it stay at that speed, Civics are such proper midsize GT cruisers now it's hilarious.
>>28659247>car-shaped cars are now functionally illegalHow did we end up like this?
>>28659247Sedans are cope for those who couldnt find a two door
>>28665072Coupes are cope for those who are too pussy to just buy a sports car
>>28662355Hell yeah
can't for the life of me find the youtube video i found of some guy "resetting" his sunroof on his egmine needs a little "push" to get it to work properly when opening and i wanted to try to fix it before winter comesthe summer it was sometimes working without me having to lovetap it
I've only owned Hondas and love their reliability and practicality. However, I made the mistake of buying the 17 crv with the 1.5Lt and after 120k miles it started having misfires. I replaced the fuel injectors and everything was good till now at 155k where I'm noticing the coolant is very slowly decreasing. I think it's probably the head gasket starting the fail. So at this point I'm looking to buy a new car as I'm not sure if I can't depend on this one for long trips.I'm considering the new Pilot but I'm really worried about the long term reliability of the V6 especially considering it has VCM. Does anyone have any knowledge on how this engine has been? I'm also debating between the pilot and the MDX. They both share the same engine but I was curious if there was better tuning for it in the MDX
>>28665710I would just a 2.4L cr-v, even the earth memes ones with GDi didn't do the head gasket thing
>>28665308Sports cars are generally coupes
Just my shit luck. Took a turn a wee bit too tight while leaving a city and fucked up a wheel/tire. At least it's still holding air and should last another couple weeks until I switch to the Sparcos for the fall/winter
2005 CivicWhen I turn my hvac controls to all the way cold I can hear the vent doors or whatever inside the dash just jiggling constantly. I used to be able to fix it by turning it to hot and then back to cold, but now it makes that noise whenever I have the controls set to full cold.Right now I just have it set to one notch above full cold and it's fine but it bothers me. does anyone know what might be causing this?
>Bought a Del Sol when I was a young guy with hopes & dreams>Still have it in my 30's, too attached to let it go but too embarrassed to be seen driving it>Only take it out on weekend nights on the backroadsAlmost hit an animal carcass on the road an hour ago cause my shitty aftermarket headlights don't project far enough for me to see ahead of time so I just instinctively centered the car with it and prayed. Thankfully someone else flattened it enough that I didn't damage anything. One day though a cow is gonna end this car on a Saturday at 11:27pm, and probably me with it.

my (EU) honda accord 2014 has started to make whining noise when I'm at the bite point on 1st and 2nd gear. there's no noise when fully engaged or disengaged.Any ideas what it could be and if it's for sure a sign of a clutch replacement
>>28666714and that's behind the glovebox, right?
>>28662261I got a 2015 accord sport and people seem to think its a 2022 or something. Honda did good with their 2015s I guess.
>>28668154It's because it rides like a 2022 or something, love my 2004 to death but the difference in ride quality between my uncle's 2014 LX was crazy, the car and steering wheel don't vibrate over bumps, the car is just gliding, and he and I were both on Sumitomo tires so it wasn't like a shit set of tires was making my 2004 bumpy, it just is what it is.
This guy i know offered to trade trunks with me on our tsxsI really want the wing and he hates itShould i cop? Good paint and no dings, his is 06 vs my 08 so hoping the paint is a perfect match
I wish I could do more for the CM 22nd birthday than a rinse and interior wipedown but at least it's got tags paid.>>28669244I like the TSX with the spoiler because it has the rear end for it.

>>28669356It has an integrated brake light too. Not sure if there was a dealer option for one but it may be original. It looks really good in person. If he will trade I already said yes
i'm going insane trying to remove my 2019 Fit wiper inserts can anyone help?everything online says "just slide it down past the end cap", but there's a metal track running all the way to the end of the cap that can't be removed (in the center of the blade, you can see it extending past the insert), no matter how far i slide the end, there's no opening for the insert to come outare my blades not the OEM ones? the manual only gives instructions on replacing the entire blade
>>28669784Haven't had issues yet, I went over 80mph on it with no vibrations or extra shaking. The inner belts aren't torn at all.
>>28669930after taking apart the entire blade, i'm realizing the insert isn't meant to be changed.likely aftermarket
Just past satan digits in my 2003 civic and the water pump has died. Drove it about 20 miles before I realized the overheating. >new timing belt>new pump>new thermostat>new temp sensors>new whatever else got fucked from prolonged overheatingIs it worth saving or should I bail?
>>28670828>Is it worth saving or should I bail?If it's not smoking from a blown head gasket or anything, you're doing good, maybe have the car looked at with the radiator cap off to make sure it isn't leaking combustion into the radiator either and it should be fine to do the TB WP thermostat service.
>>28657447Automakers saw this and collectively shit themselves. Then they started engineering cars to die and here we are now. You will never see this again in your life.

>>28675136This depends on your money Anon, if you're looking for an absolute luxurious dreamboat of an economy car for daily use, the Accord hybrid is what you're gonna want, if you're looking for a very reasonably priced and still comfy midsize economy car, any of the new Civics are nice, they have the 2.0L engine is awesome for daily driving.

>>28665710While my guess is the leak is actually in the radiator or piping. Seems worth changing the head gasket if you can get another 50k miles out of it.
>>28670116You are crazy. In my state any sidewall damage is instant failed inspection. More importantly it is a disaster waiting to happen at 80mph.

>>28685004I would get OEM headlights if you can, they actually look good if you take em to a detail shop that does headlight restoration even if you got em from the eBay junkyard.
>>28657539I just looked at their Bongistan range and they don't sell a single manual. All gay hybrid. So far only Skoda make a normal family-sized car that isn't a fat top heavy SUV which I wil never buy and has a manual gearbox. Most manufactuers are taking the piss now.
>>28685063Honda will sell a good ol 1.5T CVT Accord but unfortunate that's it, I would get the hybrid, shit's so comfy despite it being against all things an old Accord was.
>>28659248LJK Setright was a big Prelude fan. His Prelude turned up still on the road in Ireland recently still smelling of his Russian cigarettes. Very cool.
>>28685065Not in Bongland. They only sell the Civic. They aren't trying. Toyota are just as bad - they stopped selling the current Camry and only ever did sell it as a gay hybrid and no fitting point for a towbar which I absolutely require.Needless to say the only Civics they sell here are also gay hybrids and as a direct result have a shit towing capacity, 600kg which is less than I tow several times year.It is bullshit. My manual Corolla tows 1.3 tons but the shit hybrid that they limited their range to only tows 450kg. These globohomo manufacturers have been pozzed.
>>28685090Fuck, I'm really sorry they're strangling the cars over where you're at, Anon... the scary part is that America is on it's way, the pickup trucks are going turbo, the american companies are giving up on making cars because they can't compete with based Honda, Toyota, and Hyundai, I would just put money into the car you have until it's no longer runnable because we are in a living nightmare.
>>28685005good suggestion thanks broI got some local junkyards that have a set which look OK from the pics so I will go with that approach>detail shop that does headlight restorationgood to know, if they can shine them up I will be a happy man
My lil Honda Jazz is getting a new Pioneer Head unit and a dash cam. Is $400 to $500 too much to spend on this lil guy?

>>28686476That's a legit amount of money, 6 years ago I spent the equivalent of $350 installing just my Pioneer head unit, good name brand audio and dashcams are worth it Anon, don't feel bad about spending hundreds making the Jazz a lot nicer.

>>28693926the cupholders are retractable and under the ashtray, you can see them right infront of the shifter in the pic. I can have 2 large mcdonald's sprites in there and barely still bang gears without punching the cup open
>>28695257Based, my CM is so stupid, you can't put the selector into "1" without hitting it if you have a big cup in the front holder, tough you're probably not whipping it around in lower gears with drinks so for cruising it's fine
>>28663489Im thinking of buying a new FL5 in the coming weeks. Any big problems you have? I would mostly use it as a daily to go to work. And have some fun on the weekends

>>28667592Does the clutch actually grab properly? Have you ever changed your trans fluid?
>>28675136Brand new civics with the hybrid have a 6.1s 0-60, one of my buddies got one and he's a big fan. I always recommend a used 10th gen accord 2.0t, the 10 speed is really good in that 'light' of a car.The e-CVT in the new hybrids is not a CVT at all btw, it's just a fixed ratio with a clutch and electric motors. Can't go wrong with a k-series
>>28697450Wish the roads here were wide enough for one of these to be practical. Would probably buy one as I do love the look.

Am I going to make it 300 miles home on Sunday?I also didn't know what was happening so I slipped it like 5 times then called my car friend. Then finished the entire drive in 6th gear/shifting clutchless if I had to shift. Not sure if that did damage. Also, what's a good clutch to get and what should I expect to pay for parts/labor. I drive like I'm 80 so idk about performance just longevity
>>28698160You should probably be fine as long as you're lightly driving it, Tyson Hugie just crossed 600,000 miles on his worn out original clutch and he still road trips with it across country, I don't know much about fixing cars, but I do know that LuK is the OEM manufacturer of clutch kits for Hondas, very similar to Akebono for being the OEM brake pad material for Hondas.
>>28698160Get a Type R retrofit flywheel + clutch kit, OEM 1.5T ones slip at stock power
>>28692102Bump? Sound insulation for Jazz?
>>28698173I personally wouldn't do it because the Jazz is such a good lightweight little car, that's kind of the joy of driving a Jazz is the 2500 lb weight, my Accord is big and sound deadened but it weighs like 600+ lbs more than a Jazz.
But road is louder than the engine.
>>28698265That's the Jazz life Anon, if it makes you feel any better, my Accord has a dumb amount of road noise too

I have a Honda civic si 20261st gear up to 50 kmph2nd gear up to 80 kmph3rd gear up to 120 kmph4th idk probably 160-170 kmphSo 5 and 6 are only to reduce rpm unless you're racing.
>>28699196>So 5 and 6 are only to reduce rpm unless you're racing.Pretty much, the lower geared sporty cars I think they have 4th gear as their 1:1 ratio, my shitty CM has longer gears for croozin so 3rd is your 1:1 ratio, and then 4 and 5 are the croozing gearsThat's a pretty sweet setup the Civic Si has got, 4 gear ratios close to each other would be so fun for touge.
I noticed that my lil Jazz had a puncture in the rear tyre. I removed the wheel for the first tiem, the hardest part was figuring out where to put the jack. The next was, the wheel would not come out even after removing the lugs. I kicked it a few times and then it came out. Took the wheel on my scoot, there was a screw stuck in it, the tyre guy fixed it and my lil Honder is ready for more adventures.

I love Accords but these white FL5s are so hot>>28706134We have hondapartsnow and hondapartsonline, the dealer network and general oem supply of parts is so large that you can get a lot of OEM maintenence parts on Amazon even for an old CM Accord, and if that fails or the cost is really high for something, Hondas generally take well to aftermarket parts apart from ball joints, that set of pads and rotors you got from vatozone are gonna quietly stop the car, unlike a BMW where it might be squeaking.

>>28657447>made in Americaimportant to note it was made outside of the UAW cartel that systematically destroyed Detroit
268,000 achieved last week. I do have a very intermittent rattle noise on warm start up but overall no concerns. Went ahead and put in the OEM HID bulbs in from the JDM front clip parts I had. I was using some LEDs because the ballast connector was cut out but I was able to get the right connector from the front clip harness and bring it back to stock. I'm very surprised at how good the light output is for the era. The 05 Lexus ES330 optional xenon package headlights are nowhere near as good as these. Good shit, Honda. Years back when I had the EG hatch I failed at attempting a TSX projector swap in my Denji headlights. I still have them sitting around with upgraded Morimoto TSX-R lenses so I think I'm gonna put them in these JDM housings. That will also fix the light pattern since this was meant for RHD cars. I just found out you can remove the entire projector without disassembling the housing which is fucking awesome.
>>28711937I also FINALLY found a set of intact kouki tail lights at the local junkyard. It's extremely difficult to find these unbroken because of the pointed end of the outer tails being very fragile. All I need now is a kouki rear bumper and the conversion is complete.
>>28711937Based HIDs, I do love how cheap a CM is when a headlight goes out because we don't have a ballast, but it's not even close to lighting up the road like a TSX.
>>28711938>forgot pic >>28711941Yeah I finally get why the TSX is the number one donor for retrofits. Stanley really kills it in the headlight industry. I'll post a comparison with the TSX-R lenses later. Still waiting on the BC Racing DS coilovers. Special order so it's getting close to a month. Then I can get fresh rubber on the Enkei RP-01s and finally an alignment at a friend's Honda dealership.
>>28711944I found a set of later generation base model Accord steelies for $100 that I've been ripping on while I wait for the rest of my suspension upgrades. I also got a set of TruHart rear toe arms and camber arms. That turned out to be a nightmare of an install because the eccentric toe bolts were rusted and seized to the bushings. Another bolt was totally rounded and torqued to the moon so I had to fight that forever with the help of a welder fren. The welded nut in the subframe is now stripped so I need to remove that, too. I had fren tack weld the bolt and it's holding, though. I'll fix it proper soon.
>>28711944>Stanley really kills it in the headlight industryYeah OEM light assys are a must on Hondas, very much like ball joints, I'd take a polished up set of junkyard OEM lights over some aftermarkets>>28711949Lel it looks mean on steelies, it's gonna be a super nice car on fresh bushings and coilovers
>>28711952I really shouldn't put so much into it but with the prices on used cars it's probably worth the investment. The rear crash bar is totally rusted out and in pieces only held by the bumper cover so hopefully I can replace that so I'm not fucked in case I get hit. It surprisingly has not left me stranded much at all. Once for bad grounds (lost battery power), and once for my dumbass not tightening a new upper ball joint nut enough and it popped off.
>>28711961>I really shouldn't put so much into it but with the prices on used cars it's probably worth the investment. It's worth it no matter how shitty the car seems, at least for me, my shitty CM has like 179K on it now, it's worth $1000 at a dealer trade in depending on what angle you look at the car from, but I wouldn't think twice about spending $2000 to keep it on the road for another 5 years if that's what it took.
>>28711967Yeah it's been awesome overall. Might be my best car purchase next to the original EG8 and the only one with the factory engine still in it. Some of the rust is concerning but I'll deal with that later. Maybe a nice roller will fall into my lap. >throwback to September 2014
>>28711970Kek K24s be like that, fucked up looking car with hundreds of thousands of miles on it, running just fine
>>28701474sicc how much and location?
>>28710390Those are great. 20mm all around Bonoss
>>28712624She qt
>>28712624get rid of those yee-yee ass wheels and find some decent ones
>>28703756>fucking UMMs in a Honda threadWasn't expecting that, but I welcome the surprise all the same
Its over
>found a cheap 1.8L 10th gen civic hatch>130k milesIt's half the price of the same car with ~50k miles. Worth getting or am I looking for trouble?
>>28714685I would get, it Civics are such good cars that they run the same with 130K or 50K, and if it's half the money, you can afford any maintenance needed or upcoming, and keep in mind if you pay double the price for a 50K mile Civic and run up the miles, it will need maintenance anyway because cars are bullshit.
>>28711995Finland and these go for around 5k€
Thinking about buying this and b swapping. How retarted am I
>>28715752throw a motul livery on it as well
>>28714685Def. I took a 60k honda all the way to 220k and at 220k it's still similar condition to when I got it at 60k, now at like 240k with my sister. Shitbox supreme
Bump
>>28715752Depends on how rusty the shell is
>>28657447I've always been a toyota guy but last year I bought a 2004 civic for lols. To make things worse it's a hybrid with manual tranny. I expected it won't last a year but so far I'm shocked by it's reliability. It's dogshit slow, looks boring on the outside but weird on the inside. And I get 42mpg even with fked up battery
>>28716379proof of hybrid
best engine bump
it's pretty bad anon. I have a welder i don't know how to use.
>>28720017Good lord.
>>28720018Ikr throw the whip away
>>28720017>I have a welderbrother you need an exorcist
>>28669356Do you drive with a vulcan death grip?
>>28721187It's the Sun, it's destroyed the top of the steering wheel, melted the original radio unit and destroyed the exterior of this car but at least the dashboard stayed nice
I have nothing to do but torture myself over the next several months, deciding what my next car should be. I’m getting rid of my ES2 for sure – probably sell the Civic back to the buddy of mine who sold it to me, last year, since he and his family misses it – but not before I can get my hands on a car at a time I can actually afford the time to save the money up and choose a car that I so desire.Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll go back to a CM5 – if I’m going to get a car from that decade, it will either be an Acura TL or TSX… perhaps even an RSX. While I may go for an older Accord, I would rather go for a 90s Prelude.I just need more time to save the money for a car, and preferably one that has a manual transmission. I currently have $1,500 in savings and I’m not going to start car shopping until I have $5,000, which I’m expecting to have by next Spring, mainly due to having to focus on other financial obligations.
>>28721828CMs are based though Anon, they're like TLs but economical, I think if you were to drive one again you'd remember how sick it is
>>28721839
>>28721839I miss mine so goddamn much. K24 with the 5AT was unkillable
>>28723770Picking up my new type r fl5 tomorrow. pretty hyped

guys I need help >2002 accord>277,000 miles>few weeks ago car just spontaneously shuts off despite me literally driving down the road>motor is off, power steering not working, but all the lights and stuff are lit up on the dash as if it did have power, headlights are fine, bluetooth spotify still playing, etc>have to pull into a parking lot and try to crank it up 3 or 4 times to get it going again>get it home, start googling>google says power steering fluid, air filter, other stuff can cause it to do that>power steering fluid was low, so refilled it, oil change and air filter while I'm at it, got a new battery a few months prior>runs fine for a while>today pulling into a parking lot it does it again>car shuts off while I'm driving, same deal, many lights on the dash turn on like the open door lights etc>pop the hood, everything looks fine except a miniscule amount of corrosion on the battery cablesI can't afford a new car right now, what should I do guys I'm actually terrified lol what if it happens while I'm on the interstate on my way to work
>>28724478Is this a 4 cylinder? Those have a distributor that can cause cars to die or struggle to start because it's the thing firing the spark plugs and making the car run, I would take it to a mechanic and pay an hour of labor for diagnostic just to know what's up and not fire a parts canon at nothing.
>>28724484yeah it's a 4 cylinder. I'll see about setting that up asap, thank you anon. Also to be fair, I was due for an oil change and an air filter lol But having an idea of where to start a deep dive is very helpful.
>>28724513No worries anon, failing distributor is what I'm leaning towards because your car technically runs but it's struggling to start, and that's a pretty cheap part, 4 cylinder 2002 Accord was a really strong running car, there's really nothing else big that could bring it down.
I really wish Honda made something in between the Si and Type ROr at least made the Si a bit more driver focusedSunroof delete, 2.0L engine, 230+HP stockJust make the Si feel like a cheaper R rather than an expensive sport
>>28724745>Sunroof deleteGlad I'm not the only one who feels this way, I always that it was stupid for Civic Si to have a sunroof, it's like why would you cut a hole in the roof, which makes the chassis less rigid in a car that literally a sport compact.
>>28724752I've had nothing but terrible experiences with sunroofs. Basically asking for leaks and I never use them
>>28724745You're lucky to get the Si. Rest of the world only gets the hybrid and the Type R. The Fit is CVT-only now too, even the RS. Very unimpressed with Honda lately.
fortune having a 15% off sale. current ek has rev9 coilovers that came with the car from previous owner. everybody says it's shit so that's why im looking at getting something better. go with gc/koni to save some money?
>>28724803Honda has been glorious lately for fuel efficient cruiserfags like me, but it's a said state of affairs if you're into sports cars
>>28724979It's a sad state for every make when it comes to inexpensive sports carsWhat can you even get sub $40k new anymore?GTI, gr86, Miata and maybe you can count the civic si in thereThat's about it
>>28724985>What can you even get sub $40k new anymore? It's unfortunately true, even savagegeese put out a video basically saying "holy shit the FT86 and various cheaper sporty cars are becoming an aspirational purchase because things are so expensive"
>>28724985The Swift Sport ends production this month. A devastating blow to the affordable enthusiast segment.
>>28724986GTI was my dream car because I've given up on owning anything more expensive
>>28724918Can't go wrong with Fortune 500s, they're quite good
>tfw too poor to afford the nsxr on BaTwhy even live???
>>28726104Not too poor to afford a based Honda Accord
>>28657447I could've had it all. I saw 2000 CRV with 140k miles for 2k on facebook. Shit had everything recently replaced and fixed and was only driven by an elderly couple. It was in perfect condition. It was listed on Saturday and I responded Saturday night, didn't get a response and when I checked again it was sold.
I still have my Accord. It’s boring, my wife and I refer to it as the “NPC car”, and it’s still bone stock, yet I absolutely love it.Coming up on 8 years of ownership now. I’ve had dozens and dozens of cars over the years but I’ve always kept my accord. It’s the car I’ve owned the longest by a wide margin. I will never sell it unless I’m down bad in a real horrible way, or I’m trading it in for a new Honda. Coming up on 80k miles soon, and I’ve had absolutely zero problems. I’ve taken good care of it, always garaged, all that. It’s basically a back up car so I can get to where I need to be when whatever absolutely shitbox I’m driving at the time decides to quit. Between the v6 and the fully loaded leather, it’s just perfect bros. If my wife was in labor right now and we had to get to the hospital, we’re taking the Accord. Simple as.Maybe one day I’ll get around to building the engine, turbo it, tint the windows, all that, but for the time being I’m leaving just as Honda intended. Thanks for listening to my blog post.
>>28724287I got my FL5 now. Why didnt anyone tell me that android auto only works wired? fucking stupid. Anyone have recommendations for a dongle?
>>28727068Accord confirmed only car worth having
>>28727068Only difference is I'd get it in manual.
>>28727214Can confirm>>28727473So in ‘17 you could only get the coupe in the manual, at least in the states. I don’t mind the automatic because if I ever need to loan the car to friends or family who can’t drive stick, I can, which is something that’s definitely happened. Would be nice to have a stick in it. I have a couple other vehicles with a stick so I can live with it. It got the J series v6 at least, so the potential for more power and even a stick is there should I ever retire it from being my “reliable” car.>>28727170I really love these FL5’s. Unfortunately I can’t afford one. I feel like Honda took a lot of the FL5’s styling cues from the CR3, and I can appreciate that. That’s what I tell myself at night.
Is it possible to show average fuel economy on 8th gen civics? Just reset oil life, I believe my car is the LX trim
>>28727684So you do have a manual Honda. You have great taste.
>>28727935I don't think 8th gens had that feature yet Anon, I would just find out how large your tank is, fill it completely, reset the trip, then when it gets to like half, divide the distance you went by half the gallons the tank is, then you can get an idea.
>>28724985Nissan z's have been dropping in price since dealers realized no one is buying them for 60k, you see some at 35k now. Not bad for 400hp, but not many care about it
>>28727971>$43,000 msrp+possible markup and you know they gave gamestop numbers for his trade before selling it for 35Rip the original owner of that motherfucker holy shit
>>28727945Finally found something on it, it seems like some have it but only the hatch and EXS trims
