Am I going to regret getting a 2019-2022 JCW as a daily?I literally need a smaller car because my stupid fucking new apartment's parking is god awful small. My other option is a 500 Abarth but I'm almost certain I'm too tall for that one.A 2022 JCW costs ~37k here and a 2015 Abarth goes for ~19k.I don't commute and live in a very walkable neighborhood so reliability isn't *THAT* big of an issue
>>28658514I'd say it depends on your income. $37k is a substantial amount of money. $19k for the Abarth is quite a bit cheaper. The Abarth is also frankly a gay little car. The mini is also gay, just less so.
>>28658514Arent these things kind of disposable? maybe just lease something
Both are cars for women, here's a real man's chariot.
>>28658738All three of them are fag wheel drive, sorry.
>>28658514>I don't commute and live in a very walkable neighborhood so reliability isn't *THAT* big of an issueWhat do you need it for then? Because the Jimny is almost the same footprint...
>>28658720cars are just retarded expensive here. there is no escape.>>28658732we don't really have leasing. i mean, i could lease some stupid VW electric SUV for 1.5k a month (and it would still not fit in the apartments garage)>>28658738love the swift sport r but we only got a couple years of them here and they are trashed beyond belief since only 20yo automotive weebs got them. it's depressing.>>28658742love the jimny but the mix of barebones interior, bad ride quality, zero performance and still guzzling gas doesn't make for a very compelling offer. i don't really offroad
>>28658514You'll be bored out of your mind if it's an auto, but I had a good time driving an earlier year manual one. I only had it for half a year, but nothing went wrong in that period of time at least
>>28659441a 1.6 S JCW from 2012 is the same price as that 2015 Abarth. looks quite a bit rougher though
>>28659449I had a 2016 so I can't speak for the reliability of a 2012. Interior looks pretty much the same though lol, pretty spartan
>>28658514R53 is the only good Mini
>>28658514>2022 JCW costs ~37kThere is NO fucking way I'd spend that much on a Mini.
>>28658738Based Zook chad
>>28659568everything costs a fuckton of money here anon
I was in a similar situation to you OP. ended up getting one of these, couldn't get a cloverleaf unfortunately :( especially if you like exhaust notes>reliability isn't *THAT* big of an issueoh good :)
>>28660127Not OP, I was seriously looking into getting one of these but then I found out the power steering failing is a known issue, which wouldn't be THAT bad except apparently when it fails the steering wheel locks and it's impossible to turn, sounds like a very not good thing to potentially happen when you're coming in hot into a turn.
>>28658514get the abarth. multiair springs, intake, intercooler, downpipe and a tune from tork .
>>28660642yeah power steering is all electric>impossible to turnnever heard of that, it will go heavy thoughI bought a 2014 multiair, if they're looked after properly they're fine (you will have electrical gremlins at some point because it's still an alfa) but they're very fun to drive and a nice alternative to a ford ST (most stolen car in UK) or supermini. they look pure class too. i'm probably? going to get a new exhaust and aftermarket turbo next year.
>>28658514>Am I going to regret getting a 2019-2022 JCW as a daily?no>A 2022 JCW costs ~37k hereok scratch that, you will absolutely regret it.save yourself some money and get the Abarth.
>>28658514>JWCjust get a Polo GTI, Yaris GR or whateverJWCs are a fucking meme
Honda fit
>>28658514Just buy an i20N. They're unarguably the best small hot hatch.
>>28658514A good friend of mine has owned both, I've ridden in both. They are kind of dissapointing and feel cheap. If you want a small, "fun" car just look for an older manual m240i. It will be dangerously fast with bolt ons and a tune. Drives like an E36.
