we could have had an alfa miata
>>
>>28670374
this car was the result of a G82 M4 having sex with a mustang dark horse.
>>
What about a reliable Alfa? Could we have had that?
>>
>>28670464
if you want reliable, you don’t buy Italian

We could’ve had an Alfa Viper
>>
>>28670465
Nothing italian about this v6 chrysler piece of shit
>>
I've had 0 problems in 4 years btw

>he thinks it's a Chrysler V6
>>
>>28670465
The Giulia has actually been pretty solid, especially 2019+ vehicles, even the 2.9v6 turbo ferrari engine.
>>
>>28670374
alfa romeo no longer exists
>>
>>28670397
it was anal sex by the way.
>>
>>28670600
No it hasn’t. It’s a gay shitbox.
>>
>>28670600
ferrari doesnt make v6 engines. I guess you got confused because some venture capitalist bought the rights to a horse logo
>>
>>28670374
Would rather a Guilia Quadrifoglio wagon.
>>
>>28670772
This is a bizarre mental illness.
>>
>>28670776
That's the typical /o/ poster who has no idea what he's talking about kek
>>
>>28670374
Looks cool, but honestly, what would be the point? A GT Giulia? The Giulia is already great as a mix between sportscar and livability, and seemingly makes the 2-door GT car obsolete when you can get the same experience but with 4 doors and the space of a sedan.
I would've preferred:
>Widespread sales of manual 2.0T and QV Giulias
>better marketing & deal support so the cars actually sold
>Manual 4C, fixes for tramlining and half-baked shit (who the fuck thought DCT only was a good idea?)

The engine block is exactly the same as the ferrari california v8, but with 2 cylinders removed. Like exactly. They even did a lot of hand waving when it was brought up shortly after the car came out. Don’t be dumb.
>>
>>28670374
ugly as fuck
>MG cyberster but with an alfa badge = good
>MG cyberster = bad
badge whores
>>
>>28670464
Post 2019 alfas are fine, certainly compared to the German competition
>>
>>28670374
I love the guilia and would love to own one I just wish they had a middle of the road option between the turbo 4 and quadri like a na v6 or a tuned down turbo V6 280hp ain't enough when competitors are making at least 300
>>
>>28671007
I know of two near me. I saw the red one yesterday. The black one is normally parked when I go by it.
>>
>>28672238
Too bad it's too late. Alfa is screwed. I like my 2.0T but they should've made an m340i competitor. I would have bought a QV but I need AWD for the winter since my other car is RWD. The best we're going to get now is a charger rebadge.
>>
There's a gorgeous one in orange near me and I'm so close to pulling the trigger but I think if I just wait another year I can get the QV or like a new Genesis g70 or something
>>
>>28672260
it's like a G80 M3 except uglier and slower.
>>
>>28670464
>>28670600
My dad's '18 (Ti Lusso with the 2.0t I think) was basically trouble-free all the way up to the end of last year. He loved the car and only traded it in because he moved to an area where it didn't make sense anymore. (Heavy snow + no dealers/experienced service within 3 hours.)
>>
>>28672386
>Uglier
You actually like the pig nose bmws?
>>
>>28672399
i didn't say that did i
>>
>>28670600
Let me guess, the Busso is also a Ferrari engine?
Why are most Alfa fanboys so mentally ill?

Pic related is the Alfa V6 block. Same coolant passage arrangement. Same head bolt/stud size and configuration. Even the same oil return passages in the same locations.

The Alfa V6 water pump area with the main coolant passage going to the same bank of cylinders. Eve has the same rectangular casting mark/label.

You just didn’t know, did you?
>>
>>28672238
Buy the 2L with a LSD and then slap on a piggyback tune taking it up to 30psi on 93 octane. It'll get the job done. Bonus launch if you got an AWD model
>>
>>28670374
Every last Alfa dealership employee including the lube monkeys and porters could have run Alfa better than it was run post-Sergio. And I feel dirty for even saying this, but Sergio had a serious case of Italian arrogance that kept him from making his dream platform all it could have been
>>
>>28670464
Reliable and Italian dont mix so well. You cant have both. That's why Lambo being a fake Italian cuz it is more reliable than Ferrari.

>>28670465
Pretty much this.
>>
>>28670374
were you intending on purchasing one, you gay retard?
>>
>>28670464
I've had no real problems with my '18 in 7 years.
Rain sensor failed, under warrantee
disabled the start/stop, and 3 minutes work, tops.
A heat sensor failed in June
I turned left, turned right, restarted, light went off. (alfa's konami code)
replaced original battery a week later, light hasn't come back on.
