My friend let me drive his BMW today, I tried to drive it like my Honda, almost crashed it today. Too fucking powerful and rear wheel drive
That's nice. RWD is a different beast, you can generally use much more throttle in corners but if you're not used to having power you'll fuck up.

Did you disabled traction control ?
>>28673291that’s disabled on all UDM by default. we don’t fuck with nannies.
>>28672744>use more throttle in/out of the corner >cars goes into drift modenow what
>>28675454What I was saying is on the same tires you can use more throttle in a RWD in corners without breaking traction as the steering tires aren't also burdened with acceleration. But if oversteer happens you just hold the throttle, countersteer, and feather off the throttle to get back in line.t. Hasn't owned FWD since '07.
>>28675471>hold throttle so no lifting nor accelerating harder, hold it there countersteer? You see, when I try drifting in a racing sim, the car just snaps and spins, there’s no room for error or maneuvering slowly. It happens super fast
>>28675541If your intention is to get back in line from an accidental oversteer on the road, you hold throttle, countersteer, wait for the suspension to settle, then feather the throttle off.You can use more throttle to prolong the slide. If you lift immediately it's sorta like stalling an airplane and is mildly unpredictable.Get a miata with an LSD, shit tires, and almost no power and you can learn this stuff at low speeds. If it snaps and spins immediately you're giving it too much power, not countersteering enough, or it's got a suspension setup for some other purpose.
