I've been working from home for 10 years and havent had a car that's just mine in 7 years. I almost never drove the family subaru which is a nice turbo charged newer one.however one day I started to drive and use the gps maps to explore around. and the next day I did it again and again...I had to get new tired and do several oil changes I put 10k miles in a few months. I gps mapped my entire region at this point.I am considering getting a job driving. I really really want to be one of the dudes driving the google maps/Apple Maps car. I see them several times. I thought about just doing it independently never imagined this could happen to me
>>28674116Cool blog post.
>>28674116what model of subaru
I just got my first vehicle which is this 225cc dual sport from the 90s and I do this i got a USB port accesory and a milk crate in the back and its a nice third world utility bike. I can take it anywhere and gas is cheap, maintenance is cheap and easy its super fun just going on long aimless rides. Start the day going to Walmart to pick up some snacks throw it in the milk crate put my phone on the mount connect it to the charger put my airpods in and I can just take off and ride all day its so fun. Ride through the woods put the bike in neutral idling to run my headlights at night for a light source eat some snacks I had in the crate.
>>28674116>I am considering getting a job driving.Don't.It'll ruin the enjoyment.
>>28674116The other anon is right, the moment it becomes an obligation instead of a fun pastime it stops being fun.
