Your thoughts on electric cars? Are they worth the 25-30% premium over regular cars?
>>28676208electric "cars" are appliances like a refrigerator or washing machine they aren't cars.
>>28676216That isn't necessarily a problem when 99% of people consider cars to be an appliance anyway.
>>28676224>99% of people consider cars to be an applianceGood one faggot you made me depressed.
>>28676216All cars are appliances
>>28676208they make for great second cars especially if your work offers free charging. I would buy one if it made economic sense to, but it’s a tough sell to buy an equinox ev against a maverick at their current price points best combo is: small commuter ev, big SUV or truck or van for weekends or road trips or moving, fun car to change it up. obvs not everyone can afford that but thats my opinion
>>28676325>All cars are appliancesBullshit. If you believe that then why are you here? Do you post on refrigerator and washing machine message boards too?
>>28676208You will never save money by switching out a paid for ICE vehicle for a $70k EV. If you're not saving money a EV will just inconvenience you.
>>28676330>best combo is: small commuter ev, big SUV or truck or van for weekends or road trips or moving, fun car to change it up. This anon knows.
>>28676224>McDonalds is the best food in the worldPopular consensus is fucking worthless and you know it.
They'll be worth it when the operating costs make up for it vs gasolineIn my area electricity is super expensive so it's actually cheaper to run my shitbox
>>28676208aint nobody got time fo dat
>>28676208I don't really have a problem with electric drivetrains but just all the nucar problems that come with all newish cars. I don't want everything on touchscreen, capacitive buttons, mirrors being screens or the car constantly bonging at you if its shitty eye tracking system thinks you're looking somewhere else than straight ahead for more than second
