rp me on buying a mustang in europe
>>
if it’s in France a lot of jealous, boomer faggots will intentionally damage your car.
>>
>>28677092
it’s a 4 cyl turbo shitpile so it’ll fit right in with you europeons
>>
>>28677100
V6 akshually
>>28677092
It's pretty cool, but if you get an Ecoboost or V6, you're gay
>>
>>28677092
If you want to buy pic related, then watch out, because this is a US import, which means there's a chance that it's a hastily repaired Copart special. I don't know how it is over there in Romania, but here in Poland, despite the S550 being officialy sold in Europe, most S550 Mustangs are still US imports. That's because, even with taxes and transport and repair costs, it's cheaper to import a lightly damaged one from an insurance auction and repair it, than to buy a comparable EU spec car. But there are shady importers who bring cars with actual unibody damage, cheaply repair them, and sell them while hiding it, and only when you drive it you realize it leaves 4 tire marks.
>>
>>28677092
>ecoshart
Enjoy melted pistons and 5k euros rebuild due to Ford being retarded and whatever petrol adjacent fuel you eastern roaches are using.
>>
>>28677092
Definitely crashed Ameritrash. Hood doens't line up, front bumper paint doesn't match fender

(Though even new S650's aren't much better from the factory, because AmeriKKKan cars are all made by lowlifes high on Fentanyl/Meth)
>>
>>28677394
>>28677434
It's a V6 (horse emblem with stripes, Ecoboost has only the horse), so it's 100% a US import, V6 was never sold in Europe. You can also tell by the lights and mirrors.
>>
>>28677092

Miles?(or kilometers because you yuro-peon)

The 3.7 v6 is a decent engine thats generally reliable, the waterpump issue these are known for isnt a problem here since its external on rwd applications and when it does fail its easy to do.
The real issue is these v6 ones are all basemodel trim with base radio and thats how ford wanted it so it didnt eat up the ecoboosts sales.
>>
>>28677551
So he's gonna get raped by red tape and taxes. Even better.
>>
>>28677805
It's already registered so nah
>>
>>28677115
I thought Ford only sent I4 and 5.0s abroad.
>>
>>28677899
Those look like euro temp plates bro. That shit is not registered.
>>
>>28677919
They did, it's a US import, probably a crashed and repaired one, like mentioned ITT
>>
>>28677139
if you buy a car this expensive, you should at least bring it to a SKP before sealing the deal
>>
>>28677956
Yeah, but people buying those cheap Mustangs are young cashed-up posers who want to pull girls, but don't want a 10 year old BMW/Audi/Mercedes, they don't really care how the car drives
>>
>>28677092
Buying a mustang that isn't a gt is some smooth brain activity.
>>
Poor man’s 4 series
>>
>>28678174
Imagine buying any pony car without a V8.

infernally retarded to me that ford would make a mustang with only the 5.0 for 40 fuckin years, everyone knows the 5.8l was the good one and was only kept out of the 80s/90s cars because it was too powerful for the chassis.
they could put a 6 liter v8 in it and could've started doing so in 2005 but fucking just didn't and for no good reason.
>>
dark horse only
>>
i saw one today (France) and it said 5.0 on the side, and it sounded like a v8.
>>
>>28677092
Anon, look at the front end.
None of the panels line up.
Shit's been crashed
>>
>>28679236
Is the Euro Dark Horse even worth it? AFAIK it's gimped as fuck, like 50hp less than the US version.
>>
>>28679294
That's just the build quality.
>>
>>28679313
of course it is worth it. this is not the land of the free so this is the best you can get

>like 15k€ extra for five whole horsepower more and some shit that is irrelevant if you're not taking it to the track
>worth it
>>
Get a Mach 1, the new gen is the same thing, but uglier
>>
>>28679330
the tremec is already worth it

The build quality of most mustangs isn't great but on 99% of those cars, the panels at least line up semi correctly.
OPs pic is for sure a crashed font end

>>28679330
You can't even do track days on a Dark horse that shit can't take it.
All takes is a few stops from 160 mph and the brake calipers are cooked and BTFO
>>
>>28679354
>You can't even do track days on a Dark horse that shit can't take it.
>All takes is a few stops from 160 mph and the brake calipers are cooked and BTFO
fake news
>>
>>28679356
Here's something that I've realized after I started doing track days 2-3 times a month.
99% of OEM cars rated for "Track" are not up to the task.
I've seen 911gt3s on slicks nuke carbon rotors.
Corvette brake calipers catch fire
Overheated diffs and transmissions.
wheel bearings bleeding grease out the seals and loose after 1 track day

That's the harsh reality of track use. most cars simply cannot take it when you push them hard.
Maybe if you run street tires. but stuff sticky tires on and suddenly shit starts to die.
>>
>>28677092
>muttstang
Just get a golf
>>
>>28679374
When auto manufacturers say cars are track ready they mean like one lap around the ring then go home. There's a significant amount of engineering and expensive materials that go into a car lasting 40 laps and even then a lot of wear parts are a write off after the event, even whole engines.
>>
>>28679313
Pretty sure the reason euro mustangs are less powerful is all down to the exhaust being more restrictive
>>
>>28677092
No v8 no buy period.
>>
>>28679418
>Just get a golf
are you ok?
>>
>>28679356
>>28679354
>be me
>go on track day with shitbox 240sx (but with good brakes, tires, fluid
>friend brings their brand new mustang (with similar stuff)
>CEL after 2 laps, has to retire for the day
>meanwhile, I get like 4 hours of lapping practice in
>>
Get one of the European (technically German only) 1964-1978 T5 Mustangs.
>>
>>28677139
Fuck copart.
They show the region flag of the bidder and id say (maybe) 1/20th of buyers are in the U.S.
THATS why the used car.market sucks ass.
It has nothing to do with C4C or federal mandates, its because we let or used vehicles leave the country.
>>
>>28677092
There is literally no point to buying a car like this if it doesn't have a V8 you can build to 1000+ hp with simple bolt on kits
>>
>>28679941
no car in the world has this
>>
>>28679919
Nothing personnel kid
>>
>>28679919
Hmm, if there is so little Americans bidding on those cars, then maybe it means Americans don't really want them anyway
>>
>>28679817
the new mustangs (2024+ S650 generation) are known to run super hot both engine and transmission temps from the factory

even with the performance pack it doens't truly make it track capable

they are boomer cruisers at heart. the one made for the track is the $500K GayTeaDee one that they'll prly only make like 500 of
>>
>>28679374
>>28679817
there are tons of jewtube vides of the dark horse on track and strangely enough they dont have these issues. actually quite the opposite. it is praised for being excellent right out of the bx.
