Is it possible to make a 660cc engine go above its 50-60 hp? Does anyone bother? As far as I've seen people stick custom bumpers, hoods and that's it.

Yes.
Does anyone bother?
No.

Just take the bosozoku pill and out aura fellow commuters.
>>
There's motorcycles that push upwards to 150hp from just 600cc, so most definitely

100hp in a copen, 660cc 4 cylinder turbo

Damn, that's nice. I've heard that Copens are good little racers like Miatas, but never knew they're also 660cc.
So ig you can ooze a little more power out of a commuter K-car if you really wanted to. Sounds nice, that's another thing I'll look into when getting a first car, thanks

They also came with a 1.3 for the european market later on. Only the 1.3 came in LHD too.
>>

i would but those shits would just rattle off or get caught in bumps on these shit roads
>>
K-car and kei car are very different terms with very different connotations.

Wrong lol. The vast majoritiy don't bother. Even most kei-car people, but there are some options.
>>28678987
No one gives a rats ass about the american abortion known as the K-car. You know which one he's referring to.
>>28678683
the zooks can handle more turbo pressure man, it's not the main focus though because you're just going to be laying rubber everywhere, considering how tiny the tires are

the fuck is a zook
>laying rubber everywhere
fair, though the option being there is still nice if you want to make a faster than average 660cc daily shitbox

A suzuki. The F6A is extremely solid
>>
>>28678683
you never see older kei cars with more than 60hp for the same reason all the 90s jdm halo cars happened to all miraculously make exactly 276hp.
There was a gentleman's agreement that kei cars wouldn't make more than 63hp. in actuality, the az1 made around 85hp stock, and cappuccinos around 70-75 iirc

Also if you're interested in kei trucks, the f6a in the suzuki carry is the same engine found in the cappuccino, so the factory turbo is a straight bolt on with no modification.

You put a bike engine wherever it fits and stop worrying about it.
You either get them cause they look cool to you or cause you want to dodge few taxes.

busa swap

I know I'd just rip something off going over a pothole or a driveway
It looks fuckin cool tho

>Is it possible to make a 660cc engine go above its 50-60 hp?
Of course it's possible. Most kei-car owners who want to race them end up going the grip and momentum route since it's cheaper to sustain speed than it is to add it.

>>28678683
>tryhard kei cars

I laugh

Same with abarth, 86 and brz drivers
>>
>>28678683
Absolutely, and yes, people do it. Lots of Cappuccino mods exist, bigger turbos, etc. Also, the hp isn't really limited to 60, its a gentleman's agreement. The AZ-1 gets 70 stock. 85 if you remove the cat. Anything over 150 and things get too squirrelly
