A yellow line is clearly visible on the left hand side of the road indicating. There is no confusion that both lanes are in the same directions.In the pic above its impossible to differentiate which lane is which.A two lane road with a center white line with no additional markings means nothing when it comes to understanding which lane is which.

Under normal circumstances you stay to the side that you normally drive on, as if it's a road with one lane going in each direction. But if you're passing slower traffic you're allowed to cross into the oncoming lane if nobody is coming.
