Tennessee valley museum of art in muscle shoals as well. That's in northwest Alabama but it's worth making the detour, like maybe an hour and a half travel time. Not a whole lot in northeast Alabama besides camping/hiking. Good road south of DeSoto State Park and little River canyon preserve, and DeSoto is pretty cool too
