I enjoy both driving AND riding public transit.

and?
>>
>>28686835
i enjoy neither
I wish I can instantly transport to the place I want to be at
>>
>>28686835
it smells bad in buses
>>
>>28686835
I like trains, planes, trams. But I'd find my car and motorcycle pretty comfy.

Rail is comfy. Better than driving sometimes.

>be rural fag
>drive 1 hour to train station
>ride packed train for 50 minutes
>walk 10 minutes to work
The alternative is to drive around 3 hours and pay for parking lol. Luckily I only commute twice a week. I wish ride sharing was common so someone could get me to the train station while I'm being productive on a laptop.

>vacation for 2 weeks
Lol, do Americans really?
>>
>>28688429
Agreed desu. I haven't been on a train ever since I bought my car.
>>
>>28686835
Post keys and transit pass
>>
>>28688923
Yep, it fucking sucks.
I get 3 weeks, but that’s only after working at the company for 3 years. If I went somewhere else it’d likely get reset back to 2.
>>
>I enjoy public transit
Demented. Maybe you live in Japan or something but in america we have these things called niggers that do gymnastics and play music and stab you on the train, really makes it inconvenient to go anywhere
>>
>>28688923
Many of us don't even get to have one without risking finalcial turmoil

Not every place is like New York.
>>
>Own Miata
>Own gravelbike and citybike
>Ride the train a lot
>Take the plane once in a while to travel
>Take the boat aa ferry and travel option
I honestly like living in western europe a lot. Gives you all of the choices you want so you can pick the most suitable for you.

Currently have over 220 hours of pto left and next year I'll get another 350. I don't think I will be able to use up 3 months of vacation next year.
>>
>>28689470
My job caps my pto at 40 hours. This is some high level jewery.
>>
>>28689519
>40 hours
Christ, you don't get paid while on leave after a work week? I hope you at least earn a load of $ to make up for it. I make like 2/3rds of median american income which probably makes people see me as poor. But I dont think I'll trade this qol for more salary. That said how do you even enjoy your car if you cant take days off to drive it on a road trip? I plan to do a 2 week trip down to portugal next year. Just me and my miata.
>>
>>28689519
Mine capped it at 150% if yearly PTO so 3 weeks max. Then they switched it to no saved PTO and just use it when you need it :^)
No idea how that’s going since I’ve been NEETing it on disability for the past year.
>>
>>28689593
Yup. And I get a measly 20 burgers an hour for it. Actually, I tried to use my pto once and I came back to a nearly empty check. I think they just gave me the days off without using my pto! Luckily I live with my mom so I can still save money.

>>28689642
Being disabled sounds pretty good right now.
>>
>>28689740
It’s good timing, but after like the first 2 weeks I’d rather be healthy and wage cucking.
>>
>>28689740
Jesus christ, 20 burgers an hour. I wish you a lot of luck in the future. Living with your parents to save on rent, utilities and food is a good choice. I do the same thing, I would move out but that would just set me back 1/3rd of my wage which I could invest or save instead. Couldnt have bought my miata otherwise either. I guess the living with your parents in ur mid 20s thing till ur 30 is gonna apply to me too.
That aside I dont think disabilities are worth it like the other anon said. Your body being healthy is worth loads.
>>
>>28689893
Don't feel bad. I'm 31. At least I get to be there when she needs help. One of my fears is her falling and can't get up. I heard elderly can sit there for a week before dying. And I don't even think 20/hr is bad, everything else just sucks.
