We all know the many brands over the years have hit the shitter but what brands have actually improved and are way better now than their past? I think Kia is an obvious answer, used to be infamous shitbuckets, now everyone with a Kia Niro consider it one of the most reliable cars they've ever owned. Their EVs also fare generally better than the competition.
Fiat, unironically. Then they became shit again.
>>28686899>one of the most reliable cars they've ever owned>Just wait, after over a half century of failure, THIS one will last more than 5 years.>Oops, it didn't. But this next model it totally different than the past several decades of cars, super swear!>I wouldn't lie 50 years in a row and just keep on lying, now would I?rinse wash repeat, and never making a reliable car. Just korean things.

KDM is the new JDM. JDM is dead.
>>28686899i have a 2012 kia optima with 181k on the clock. it seems to run fine, but leaks oil from valve cover gasket, perhaps other places as well. i just check the oil every day, and try not to think about it too much. also, i ignored all of the recall notices.
>>28687803Valve cover gaskets take like 15 minutes to do and cost $30 from the dealer.
>>28686899I don't trust Kia but I've found myself in a position where, on paper, it's the best option for me.
>>28688072>I don't trust Kia but I've found myself in a position where, on paper, it's the best option for me.Does that paper set itself on fire? If not, that paper isn't from kia.
