Its starting to freak me out seeing these things driving in my city, seemingly nobody talks about it despite them being a branch of Google and them being cheaper than regular ubers & taxis while having those weird laser tech thingies that other self driving cars like Tesla don't have. They do nearly a million rides per week in my california alone, has the future finally arrived?

>>28689390There's 3 million as of 2024. At 15000 miles a year that's 45 billion miles per year. But Tesla only claims 6 billion FSD miles total and half of those are from the last 12 months. So only like 1% of Teslas are using fsd at any moment, maybe less.
